Fairly easy install, you will need a torque wrench and rear stand to do this install. This is definitely worth the time and effort to dump the factory fender and clean up the look of the MT-09.

Awesome bang for bucks, could come with instruction manual for installation but it's pretty straightforward if you can handle tools, also there are multiple videos on the internet that shows exactly how to do it. Only "special" tool you'll need is a 27mm box to loosen up the wheel nut to take off the OEM ugly fender.

Fits well for the price. I dont know if the seller updated the product, but it came with easy to follow instructions and no drilling was necessary compared to the other reviews. The only downside is I agree to the turn signals not reaching the wiring harness on the bike by an inch or two, so I had to loosen up the harness on the bike to move it back a little to plug into the turn signals. I made it work, but theres a little bit of tension on the wires, but not enough to worry me. Came with all the necessary hardware. About an hour and a half install including mounting everything back together. Ive done 4 fender eliminator kits in the past so it was a somewhat similar process.

Pretty decent for under $40. You WILL have to extend the blinker wires, so have butt connectors or a soldering iron ready. Or get an integrated tail light. Very easy install if you’ve ever wrenched before. Fitment is excellent. Metal feels a little frail, but plenty strong to hold a plate. Way better than that ugly stock thing from Yamaha.

2019 MT09- Does not come with directions which added to install time. The license plate light thats included is junk and cutting wires is needed to install. I went around this by drilling larger holes and installing the oem light on the new mount. The oem blinker lights did not fit bc the wires were to short, ended up having to also buy an integrated tail light to make it work.

It is a cheap fender eliminator. That's what you get and that's what you pay for. It works well. Had to trim some plastic to make it fit but I got it to work.
