Now that I have worn these through the winter on my daily walks, I can testify that they are a fantastic boot for the price. Comfortable. Excellent Size 13 fit. Lightweight yet Warm. I would usually never buy something for my feet without trying them on, but I took a chance on these while researching a cold weather walking hiker during a stretch of chemotherapy treatments. I’d buy another pair in a heartbeat. So far they have been quite durable. 5 Stars!!!

Boots looked like good quality for the price. Ordered size 14, but fit more like size 12, so I had to send them back. Unfortunately there is not a bigger size than 14. I don't know if they were sized wrong, but looked too small in the box. Was really looking forward to wearing these boots.

I ordered these boots in size 12.5 since many reviewers said they run small. I found out that's true. The size 12.5 boot was too snug and I had to return it for a size 13. I expect the new boots should fit fine when I'm wearing winter socks with them. Saying all that, the boots appear to be well made, durable, and should handle winter weather well.Update - the boots are definitely not water proof. A more apt term would be water resisistant to a point. They could also use a bit more insulation but not too much otherwise they'd lose their flexibility.

I was on the fence about these boots when I purchased them. Although lightweight, they were also bulkier than I thought they would be. They felt good on my feet, however, so I decided to keep them for the Western alpine elk hunt that I ordered them for. Turns out it was a very good decision!The foot of snow on opening morning was all I needed to fall in love with this boots. The next two days of near constant rain and sleet solidified my love for them. I hunted with friends that had much more expensive big name brand boots and these boots were the only one that didn't fail. Not ONCE did my feet get wet or cold!! I was really surprised at how well they held up in extreme weather conditions. They were also very comfortable on 4-6 mile hikes in the weather everyday. Minimal fatigue at the end of the day but much less than I expected.If you are on the fence like I was, don't let the low price point fool you. They are GOOD quality and do everything they are supposed to do!
