this is NOT a NMEA 2000 device, it's a sea talk device. Not "sea talk compatible" just Sea Talk only

This thing requires no adjustment whatsoever. Just plug it into your NMEA2000 daisy-chain and you're good to go. It's very nice to have a digital barometer readout in the nav station and on the helm to keep an eye on weather. I still love my brass analog barometer, but those things always require the "good old" tapping on the glass to keep track of small increases/decreases in atmospheric pressure.

I installed this so I can see the pressure trend on a B&G Triton2 which it does, but not nearly as precisely nor as stable as the pressure sensor in an iPhone. It will move about over a 0.5-0.8 millibar range. That will generally be close enough for my purpose but I am a bit disappointed as I know electronic pressure sensors can be better.

Plugged into NMEA 2000 backbone and Garmin started showing atm pressure seconds later.

Easy installation into our B&G system. This was a simple plug in. Easy to set up on my instruments in the Zeus3.

Beware...this is not suitable for direct connection with Raymarine SeaTalkNG, it is NOT the YDBC-05R and therefore will not connect to Raymarine kit. The description is misleading as it omits the critical "R" and is actually the YDBC-05N which is an NMEA threaded connection only.
