These towels are amazing. I bought 2 of the beach towels last year & liked them. I see everyone commenting on the thickness but it's not supposed to be thick. It doesn't mean it's poorly made or cheap just because it is lightweight. They are especially great for the smaller kids because they are not weighed down by a heavy wet towel. I understand the comments because I ordered a set of microfiber bath sheets earlier this year & I was disappointed when they arrived. I thought they were thin & cheap. I decided to try one before sending them back & I'm so glad I did. I love them & plan on slowly changing all my towels to microfiber. They are very absorbent. I especially like that they dry my hair quickly. I pat it as I get out of the shower & my hair has never dried so fast. No rubbing, no squeezing, I just pat it. I don't use blow dryers anymore so the fact that my hair is almost dry right out of the shower blows my mind. It is completely dry in less than half an hour. Try that with a cotton towel. All I have to do is pat my hair for a minute or so. No heavy towel wrapped on my head. These are also easier to wash & dry. I can only wash 2 of my cotton bath sheets at a time because they get so heavy when they're wet l. I can wash all 4 of my microfiber bath sheets plus dish towels & washcloths in one tub of laundry My cotton bath sheets take over an hour to dry in the dryer but the microfiber towels are dry in 10-15 minutes so they also save energy. I've never been so surprised that something I was ready to return actually turned out to be a great purchase. They are also much better than cotton on the go. You're beach bag will hold more than 1 towel & it will be much lighter making them easier to carry. And after all that, they are really cute. The kids beach towels I bought last year are still in very good shape. They hold up well to daily use so I plan on getting 4 more for the pool this year. This way we have extras for the kids friends when they come over. I almost forgot that they take up a lot less space in the linen closet also. Exyra space is definately a plus.

They work well and the kids love how cute they are. They feel soft like microfiber on the inside (blank side) . The only thing I don't like is how thin they actually are.

I had to return as they were very thin. Reminded me of a baby receiving blanket, not an absorbent terry-cloth beach towel. Even for a child, you need some thickness to soak up water. I had to return.
