My daughter's theme for her 6 bday was mermaids. We ordered this kit for each of her friend so they can take something from the theme home after the party. It was an instant hit because the jewelry is cute, does not have sharp edges, doesnt require too much supervision from parents to wear and also easy to store. The colors are vibrant and the pieces are good quality.

So this is cute and age-appropriate for my six year old. She loves that it stretches over her head so the necklace itself and the bracelet are nice and stretchable. We like the beads are slightly larger than the standard size bed so these are a bigger, bulkier looking necklace, but I think for their age group it actually works out very well. The ring and the earrings are really cute. What we like about the earrings is that there’s a little bit of padding in there when you do clamp it onto the ears so they don’t hurt.

Gave it to my 4 year old as part of a special experience, going to see the new mermaid movie in the theater. She was very excited about it, and has been wearing the necklace frequently, but the bracelet broke within an hour and I'm not sure if I can fix it. Overall a good surprise for a mermaid-loving kid, but not very durable unfortunately.
