We got this for our Pitty, who is a very aggressive chewer .... not only does she love the frozen treat inside, but she actually chews on the outside of it and has yet to get through it, it also works as a distraction toy as our fur baby currently has an ear infection and after treating her ears, we give her this to keep her busy so that the drops can get down in her ears, good.... I would purchase again and recommend to others.

SO GOOD for tough chewers! Both my labs haven’t managed to destroy it and we’ve had it for months ! So good we’ve bought another one

I have a 2 yr old 68lb mixed breed dog who is a heavy chewer with mild separation anxiety. She has destroyed many toys but this one is holding up pretty well after a couple of weeks.Pros: sturdy rubber material with texture to massage teeth and gums. Keeps her busy for a while(using the frozen filled mold inserts). I love that this comes with a silicone mold to make own treat refills. Part that you unscrew to put treat in works well, haven't had issues with the threads at all.Cons: she has managed to chew some of the pointy edges, but no chew toy is chewproof! The rubber cap to block off the end(if filling with kibble or small treats)falls off or gets pushed inside the toy easily. I got the larger size and it is heavy so is loud when she drops on the floor.Overall I would buy again.

This has been great for my puppy who loves to chew with his sharp teeth. It helps me get stuff done for about 15 minutes while he enjoys a treat. I bought a second one, so I could use one and have one go through the dishwasher each day. I was an idiot when I bought the first one, thinking the company had sent the wrong size ice tray (the large tray for the medium ball). The domes of ice were too big to insert through the hole with the stopper removed. I didn't remember the reviews that said the device screws open, too. It's even in the booklet, which I noticed had recipes, but didn't look closely at. I was running the ice cubes under water to melt them a little and shove them down into the ball. I emailed the company to ask if they could send the correct size ice tray. I assumed they were in Asia, and I wouldn't hear back. But they wrote back in perfect English right away explaining that the device screws apart into two pieces, making it easy to load the frozen treat. I thanked them. A few days later, there were two new ice trays in my mailbox. I didn't need them, but they were trying to make me happy after my email, I guess. I feel bad that they have such good customer service when I was the dummy! The newer ball I got was a little hard to unscrew, so I put some cooking oil on a paper towel and rubbed it on the threads. Then it glided right back together, no problem. I'd rather have to do that then have it so loose that it opens while my dog is playing with it. Great product.

Very sturdy, I have 3 very aggressive chewers and these are awesome. I use them mostly with the frozen inserts, I'm not sure how they would work as a treat dispenser though I suspect the plug would not stand up, but that's not how I use them so they are great. The way they screw together is tight and strong. I had a different one that wasn't as well built and they could separate it, no way to do that to this one... great product.

Well made! My destroyer Boston Terrier looks forward to every night! I make a mix of peanut butter & Greek yogurt in molds. When she’s done she puts on my lap to unscrew to get the last lick! No issues with screwing together. The one item she doesn’t chew on! Eventually I may order another mold. I wash after each use, ready for next evening treat. To heavy for fetch, she can carry from place to place as she enjoys the challenge. One month update: impossible to unscrew! I was putting coconut oil on threads..Put in a bowl & poured bowling water in & over; shoved a screwdriver through the holes and with a lot of effort got it to turn. Now I put olive oil on both threads and a strip of parchment paper . Still needs work to get off. I can always use boiling water if I can’t turn. I wash with dish soap after each use so it is dry for next evening treat. My pup sits by freezer each nite when it’s time, it part of our night now.

I think I hit the jackpot on the perfect puzzle toy. I bought this initially as a puppy popsicle dispenser and it worked as expected in helping cool my dog off on our increasingly hot days. I’ve used a fillable Kong for many years so I know anything that involves her licking peanut butter out of it will be an instant hit that will calm her down no matter the situation. However, I didn’t expect it to work so well as a dry kibble/treat dispensing puzzle toy too! I am really getting my mileage out of this toy with being able to easily fill it with dry treats multiple times a day and having my dog spend at least 20 minutes at a time rolling the ball around to shake them out. I’ve bought several puzzle toys over the years and they all had the issue of taking 5-15 minutes to set up only to have it seriously keep my dog busy the first few times I used it. After that, my dog mastered the puzzle and the time I spend setting it up ends up being way longer than the time she spends solving it. Not with this puzzle though—the fact that it *has* to be rolled around to shake out treats one at a time means she can’t really get faster at it AND it gives her a bit of physical exercise. I also love that I don’t have to do much work, I just have to fill it up.Tip for pet owners: your pup will spend more time solving the puzzle if you fill it with irregularly shaped treats. The small holes means you might have to cut up the treats to fit, but that can be a good thing since it will make the puzzle harder! To test how easily your treats fall through, pop a few in and roll it—the longer it takes to dislodge the better!
