I really like the bed it did take time to put together. But instructions were good. Nice and sturdy. But the wooden planks that go on it under the mattress the plastic parts broke on me and now they won’t stay in place. There really hard to snap in as well.

The bed once built is amazing. But holy crap it took 7 hours for us took assemble it! Was a lot of work. But my son loves the bed.. so all in all worth it .

The end product is nice in concept, but the assembly process is horrible. The instructions are merely pictures, and even though I avoided making any serious mistakes, and one point, I did need to find a piece and reposition it. I was lucky that it did not require much disassembly.The steps seem somewhat out of order, especially in terms of the parts they tell you to grab for each step; some will not be used in that step. Especiaally bad iss the finaal step of the lathes. Be sure to follow the instructions and do ONE SIDE at a time. The center bar slides left to right and you cannot put in a full row (2 pieces) at a time. Slide the bar to the right and put in the opposite side. Then, slide it to the other side and repeat for the second set of lathes. Otherwise you will break the fragile plastic parts. Also, some of the pieces have the same part numbers, and the two most important parts have NO LABELS (that was the worst part).Assembly greatly benefits from having two people, especially during certain steps.

This frame is solid. Give yourself at least 5 hours to assemble. The pictured instructions can be a little confusing at times but with a little common sense you'll get it. Love all the storage and that gallons of water fit perfectly on the side shelves for storage for my husband's cpap.
