Dual System ( 622C and 603 wireless trigger system )
Completely Compatible with YONGNUO 622C and 603 Wireless System
- YN685 II supports respectively receiving wireless triggering signal from YN650EX-RF/YN320EX/YN560 IV/YN660/YN720/YN862C/YN560-TX(Pro)/RF605/RF603(II)/ YN622C-TX/YN622C. It can easily realize wireless TTL, manual flash and stroboscopic flash.
Remote Control Off-camera Parameters of Each Group
- The flash mode, flash intensity, focal length and sync mode (YN622C wireless system only) of the speed-lite in each group can be controlled remotely through YN622C transceiver and YN650EX-RF/YN320EX/YN560IV/YN660/YN720/YN862/YN560-TX(Pro).
Note: The wireless TTL flash function requires the support of the main control unit.
Supports Auto/Manual Zooming
YN685 II supports auto and manual zooming, and the flash coverage can be changed between 20~200mm.
High Speed Sync (HSS)
- When HSS function is activated, this flash unit YN685 II can be used with every shutter speed and the maximum sync speed is up to 1/8000s. Turning on the high speed sync is useful to limit the influence of ambient light when shooting in bright conditions.

Ultrafast Charging Recycle System, supporting External Power Supply
- The recycling time is 2 seconds when the power output is set to maximum. The recycling time is about 3~4 seconds even this speed-lite is used without using fresh batteries. In addition, you can use the external power supply to meet your higher charging recycle need. ( the battery is not included, you need to buy it separatedly )

L'utilizzo è come quello di qualsiasi flash esterno hot shoe, fa comodo scaricare e leggere bene le istruzioni prima anzichè lamentarsi dopo perchè non si riesce a fare qualcosa. Potente (copre fino a 200mm e, all'occorrenza, scende fino a 14), funzionamento con 4 pile AA, costruzione solida (ne ho già avuto uno per altro modello di fotocamera e dopo anni è ancora quasi come nuovo). Ottimo sostituto dell'originale, che sicuramente sarà migliore ma ha prezzi esorbitanti. Questo si prende per circa140€ e nella confezione c'è anche la base per usarlo off camera.

Thia is my second Yunguo flash unit. Gives off clean light, 5500k. Reliable and very few mis fires. Why spend double for a similar name brand unit? Rogue flash gals and flash bender fit nicely. Connects seamlessly to the Yungnuo 622tx with its built-in receiver.

I like that the flash has HSS which can go to a maximum shutter of about 8000 if I’m not mistaken, which covers everything; not having the user to worry about those black lines on their images caused by too fast a shutter speed that the flash can’t handle. The battery life I haven’t had the time to fully assess because I only tested it once. Overall I would say it’s too overpriced for such a poorly written manual in English.Rating one star because the manual has everything that’s already so convoluted for the 685 alone written, even though the cover page shows manual for the 685 II (the version I purchased). Even further down the rabbit hole it shows what flash triggers work for the 685 alone in the manual and not the version II which I had. So I went ahead and purchased what the manual says is compatible and for nothing can it work. Why? Because the manual is misleading on all fronts.This brand definitely needs to do better. It’s my fourth from from them and this is the most expense and by far the worst experience. I definitely wouldn’t be purchasing this brand ever again. Don’t waste your time, spend the extra or even less and get something that’s worth your money and is well outlaid in English. Forget Yongnuo that’s gets you spending excessive money on other accessories that can’t work because they have failed to explain everything in English and are taking manuals for previous versions and not updating them to suit the newer models. Misleading folks.

This is my 3rd Yongnuo flash, my second 685. No complaints with them. They are much cheaper than the Canon flashes.I highly recommend these flashes and if I have a need for more flashes, I'll be buying Yongnuo again.
