So I got this for a non-standard reason... I have a jacket with a metal zipper with plastic tab on it, and it broke... only took a decade... anyways, I was able to fairly easily clamp this onto the little metal tab.It just works. Pretty easy, didn't use any cord.It is a little thick compared to a molded pull tab, but that's what you get.And now to figure out what to do with the other 24 pull tabs...

I ordered these black end clips to use on sneakers and pants string. For pants, instead of pulling and making a ribbon, cut it short and I put a adjustable plastic cord locks and put these on the ends of the laces. For shoes, I have an extra laces and I put the adjustable plastic cord and put these end clips on the tips of the laces so the adjustable lock won't go far to the point that it will slide out of the laces. The adjustable plastic locks - I bought separately.
