Honestly I was skeptical at first but this thing increased my Network speed on my PlayStation 5 I haven't tested on my PlayStation 4 pro or Nintendo switch yet or any other of my consoles

Easy to set up. Works great to allow me to split the WiFi data ports in our basement for the rest of the house. Still get same speed, connectivity with these. It’s built well and design has held up. Have been using it for 6 months with no problems.

I'd almost forgotten I'd bought this switch because it's mostly tucked away out of sight helping to distribute 2.5gbe goodness ..silently!Build quality is pretty decent at this price. For what I paid for it you can usually expect something plastic, not an all metal unit like this.I paid £37.51 (with promotion applied) and for me its excellent value for money. Definitely recommended if you can get it at the same price (or less) than what I paid.

This is a generic 2x 10Gb SFP+ and 4x 2.5GbE unmanaged switch. It works well to break out a few 2.5GbE ports from a 10GB SFP+ computer port passing through to a 10GB SFP+ NAS using Twinax. The switch runs cool and has no fan. The power adapter is tiny but has a short cord. It's a standard 5.5mm coax so there are several options in case that is an issue.

Great little switch so far. Came loaded with firmware version 2.0.7. It has VLAN, LACP, IGMP, DHCP Snooping, and a variety of other basic features. It does NOT have SNMP for those wondering. The web interface works well and is easy to navigate (make sure to save your changes). I will update this review if I have any issues but I would definitely recommend this for your home setup!

I purchased this Yulinca 8-port managed 2.5Gpbs ethernet switch in order to integrate a few new 2.5Gbps devices into my home network. One of these devices is a QNAP T-653D 6-bay network-attached storage (NAS) host. The NAS host can trunk its two ports using static or Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP) strategies. The Yulinca switch advertises compatibility with LACP.NOTE: The unit I received was not flashed with firmware supporting LACP but I obtained a new firmware load from a gracious Yulinca support representative that added the protocol. If you need LACP and your unit does not show such an option, just fetch and install a new firmware. The switch works very nicely. LACP functions well and the Web-managed works just fine. I am very happy with this model.

This switch is great for 2.5G. I had no issues getting it connected over sfp+. Running iperf3, I was about to confirm 2.5G speeds between devices on the switch. However, inclusion of the 10G sfp+ ports is meaningless, as the switch has no 10G capabilities. 10G devices will see a 10G connection, but are unable to communicate across the Switch at 10G. I confirmed this by directly connecting devices with 10G NICS to each other and running iperf3 between them to see a successful 10G transfer. When including this switch between them, connection is negotiated at 2.5G only.

Multigig networking hardware for the home hasn't yet left the "enthusiast" category of product and thus is quite expensive. This is a fair bit cheaper than similar products and unlike those other ones, every single port delivers the full 2.5 gigabit. That alone makes it a great value. I haven't yet used the 10 gig SFP port, so I can't comment on its functionality. I have been using this for a couple months now, during which time it has ran 24/7.This is a simple unmanaged switch. It will be 100% plug and play provided you place it after your router on your network. It has no trouble negotiating a gigabit connection, nor 100 megabit, and devices running at any of these speeds can communicate without issue. I haven't tested whether it can negotiate a 10 megabit connection (many multigig switches won't) but this is probably a pretty niche need anyway, and the labeling on the device implies that it can. The link light will be green for 2.5 gig connections and amber for any other speeds. I have three devices connected to this with 2.5 gigabit NICs, my router, my file server, and my main desktop, and the switch delivers the full bandwidth that I'm expecting, even over a fairly lengthy cat5e cable run and in an environment with a fair bit of EMI noise. It is passively cooled with no fans and it has no trouble keeping itself cool. Great value, especially given the number of ports and that all of them are full speed and that the name brand multigig switches are very, very expensive.
