Ordered part for 44 year old solid brass hunter. Same speeds! Black wire goes to the L. Low speed is 2. And high speed is 7. Got my precision fans going again.

I bought this to replace a switch that began to fail after 15 years of use. This is listed as the same model number. After about three weeks this switch stopped cycling and I couldn’t return it because it had bee 35 days since purchase. Very disappointed.

Two speed ceiling fan switch. Works great.

The switch looks and works like the original. The numbered outputs are reversed, however - so watch for that. I'm using with a whole house fan.

It all made of plastic, but it works as it should

I installed this in my two-speed Dayton 24” industrial pedestal fan. Its contacts are rated 6A @ 125V but it’s a very cheaply made switch. The original pull switch was all steel (and lasted 30+ years). This one, well……. only time will tell, but it’s certainly not “industrial quality” (the 3 push in wire contacts are made from very thin material, as is the plastic case).

I had a pull switch go bad on a 25 year old shop filter fan. Called the company that made it and they don't stock replacement parts for the switch, but the nice gentleman said that any two position paddle fan switch would work. Sure enough, I ordered a switch on Amazon and it turned to be an exact match. If you have a good thing, don't screw it up with changes!
