Have used this in the past and now re-ordering! Have sent sets to my adult children! It really does remove the whole tick, including the head, which is essential, without pain or any difficulty whatsoever ! Essential tool!

I couldn't believe it when in late March I saw 3 ticks on my dog and no one in town had a tick tornado. This little device is essential if you live anywhere in the US that has grass, weeds or well, temperate climate. Incidentally, my dog would pick them up off the road on walks also. The ticks were especially bad this spring. Good for humans too!

The tools themselves are amazing, I truly enjoy how well they work. What I do not appreciate is how they are selling a TWO PACK for $12.99 and only sending ONE pack.... that's not cool.Happened to me twice, luckily Amazon helped me out but this bait and switch tactic is a bit shady. I understand this is a small business and I try to always support small businesses, but don't be shady...

I absolutely have a difficult time trying to touch those creepy things. I used to have to find someone trustworthy to remove it, wether it b on me or my dog. A friend bought me a set of these 2 yrs ago & its became my best friend. It securely craddles & holds the tick for removal. Holds the tick so good, it gives u enough time to despose of it before it climbs around. Im purchasing this one for a friend.

Despite putting flea and tick stuff on our outside kitty, Lemons, he still picked up a tick in our woods. So I ordered the two pack of this Tick Tornado. As soon as it arrived, we took the large tick remover out and gave it a try. It really does work and it really is as easy as sliding the remover between tick and skin, gave a couple turns and it came right out, head intact, alive and disgusting, stuck in the Tick Tornado! We tapped it into the ashtray and I burned it with a cigarette. Quite satisfying! So yep, it absolutely works on cats. HOWEVER: this Tick was fairly fat by the time we saw it and then received the package, so it was an easy target. I wouldn't recommend waiting til the Tick gets fat before taking it out of a PERSON; and remember even if you get it out on your own, you should put it in a sealable Ziploc bag or container with a lid and take it and your body to your doctor or ER pronto! They can tell if it's a deer tick and you will get antibiotics to save you from Lyme's Disease. My husband had a deer tick a few years ago, and altho it came off easily, he got deathly ill and still has flares from having Lyme's Disease. So although it takes the tick out without leaving the head, a human should ALWAYS take it to a doctor and show where it's been pulled from.
