I didn't realize when I got this how involved it was to use. I have several other transformers around the house, so I'm familiar with their use. But with this one, you have to first download an app, which I did. But the app apparently is used to control a bunch of things around your house, so I found it difficult to navigate thru. After the download - if you get that far - you then need to go thru a bunch of steps to get the timer programed to use with a phone. You also have to make sure that it's compatible with your router and system. I couldn't find any way to operate it manually (without the phone link-up). I admit to not being overly tech proficient, so for someone else this might work just fine. But I finally gave up on it.

Everything seemed great till…. I mainly purchased this for the convenience of linked into my Google Home and having everything else linked to my Google Home after installing which is easy setting up, which is easy link into my Google Home, which is easy I then learn and find out that this device is not supported with Google

If you've used a smart plug before then you can handle this... because it's essentially 3 wifi plugs in a trenchcoat.This appears to be a well made transformer, its heavy, the finish is really good.The enclosure looks nice. just 3 buttons on the front and a small antenna on top.Theres no panels to remove, the terminals for the wire are on the bottom of the device near the AC cord.The included mounting bolts are nice quality, as was the packaging - which gives me a lot of confidence in this transformerThere are 3 buttons on the front, pressing each one will toggle that zone on or off.You must use the Smart Life App to setup schedules on this transformer.The app is actually pretty good, its the same thing as installing a smart outletlike many other smart devices, you must have a 2.4ghz wifi network or it will be very difficult to get this to be discovered in the app.Overall, this is pretty affordable way to control your smart home's landscape lightsHaving zones is really nice, my last transformer didnt have that - this one has 3!

I work a lot and when I am home on weekends spend too much time MAINTAINING the landscaping. I tried various solar lights and have been very disappointed. In previous home I used the low-voltage light and loved the way they set-off the outside space at night. You can go out back after work sit back and enjoy a glass of wine and actually enjoy your yar even at night. Going with low voltage lights was the right move, but I wanted a smarted controller and this is what this is. I love that I can download an app and control my lights. This is exactly what I needed for my outdoor space. Setup is super easy and they put a lot of quality into this transformer.

This transformer works very well. I love having 3 separate zones. I connected it to my Wi-Fi with the Smart Life app, and then was able to successfully add it to Home Assistant via the Tuya integration. This integration allows you to control all 3 zones individually, and it even reports overall power consumption (see screenshot). I've been controlling it solely from the Home Assistant since I first set it up, and it has been reliable.The transformer appears to have both 12V and 14V outputs for each zone, which is interesting. I've never seen a 14V output on a landscape lighting transformer before.Unfortunately the Wi-Fi antenna that arrived with mine fell apart when I was installing it (manufacturing defect). I contacted the seller and never got a response back. I was able to find another compatible antenna and use it, so that I could get it online.
