Gorgeous big hunks of raw black tourmaline. These are big chunks, I was really happy with the quality of the stones. I have a lot of rocks at home, I was looking for tourmaline for an art installation and these were perfect.

My son and I really like collecting different stones and crystals, I gave my child a few stones, we probably won’t tumble them we like the look as it is.

I got 9 crystals. The color is good. There are some small inclusions. Although it was packaged in bubble wrap there was some crumbling. I have placed them around my house for positive energy.

These come in a thick padded mailer, measured by weight, indeed 1 lbs. Depending on shipping they may experience friction against each other but largely unpreventable without a lot more wasteful packaging. So you may want to blow off or rinse any dust.They're schorl, manually fractured into the specified size range, and indeed irregular so each one is unique. Use them for whatever you like.

I have quite a collection of crystals but most are polished. This black tourmaline is beautiful because it’s unpolished and raw and is rough, and is beautiful as is. I thought it was unique, and would make a perfect gift for someone into crystals, chakras, etc, to add to their collection.Any part of it the light catches, is really pretty and eye catching. The crystals come in a resealable bag with crumbs and dust of course but that’s normal.Overall, nice rough tourmaline, great for a gift, and i would recommend.

I admit that I had higher expectations for this tourmaline but all in all, I think it will be usable. I use lots of stones and I was hoping to get something that was medium grade (did not really need terminations, just striations) for a batch of earrings I'm making. The good news is that it is black tourmaline and it is mostly decent quality, if you don't need it in the raw form and plan to tumble or polish it (relatively few cracks, minor inclusions of something reddish, hard to tell what it is). The not-so-good news for me personally because I needed them to have decent quality raw is that there are about 4-5 stones out of the bag that I could utilize in some way with some work. The rest look like they might have been handled pretty roughly and other than tumbling them, I won't be able to do much with them. Obviously, every bag is different, so hard to predict what will be in the next one but this is what I got. Photo of all the stones in the bag on a paper towel (they haven't been washed).

This is a nice set of rocks. You get a nice variety of sizes and colors included which is an added bonus!
