Cycling clothing can be so expensive. I'm always looking for good values in off brand products. These particular tights have been good performers at a very reasonable price. Material along with fit and finish are all more than acceptable in my book.

I got the medium in navy blue. Normally wear 32x30 pants. Waistband is elastic, but for a tight fit the drawstring was necessary. The legs are a tad long, they bunch a little bit.Very bulky/thick chamois, 3/4" (2cm) at thickest parts. Not very stiff, I think it will be uncomfortable on longer rides. I prefer a fairly dense foam to distribute pressure better.Zippers are all marked YKK, they operate smoothly, and have a fold-flat design with a small plastic covered pull.Reflectives strips are on the lower calf, the ankle zips, and a logo on the left thigh.Rear pocket is about the size of a large phone (6.75x3.2 in, or 17x8 cm).First ride: I appreciate the extra length. The legs don't ride up, and the bunching is only slight around the knees. Cold resistance is great, I don't feel the wind chill. The rear pocket position is a bit unfavorable. I usually keep my music player in a pants pocket, and here it collides with my saddle nose so I have to be mindful of it. The chamois is just too thick to the point I would need to lower my saddle to ride in these regularly. I'm going to give it another ride with my other thicker sole shoes. I feel like I'm riding on a van suspension, just too much padding.Second ride: Not used to thermal tights, and I was constantly over-warm even as I took off top layers. My legs kept comfortable with just the tights though. I did ride with thicker shoe soles, and it helped with the thick chamois, but I still wouldn't want to do all day rides in these without adjusting my saddle down.

Keep in mind that while I am an avid bike rider, I have never been one to go all in on biking apparel. That said, this is my first real pair of cycling tights. I got these for their thermal properties, and mostly wear them as a base layer inside waterproof cycling pants. For that reason, I can't really speak to their weatherproofness on their own.For the way I use them, these tights are working great for me... with a few exceptions. They are quite warm and they seem to do an adequate job of allowing sweat to pass through. The padding in the crotch/seat is thick and firm, but does compress decently when you're on the saddle. The tights appear to be well made. I've inspected most of the seams and stitching, particularly in high stress areas, and am of the opinion that these tights should hold up well to regular usage. The inner ankles have silicon gripper bands to help prevent the legs from riding up. There are also zippers in the ankles to aid in putting on and removing these tights.I ordered 2XL based on waist and weight. I fall between 36 and 38 inch waist for most pants, with an inseam of 30 inches. I am currently 225lbs, but expect that to drop as I am starting to ride more regularly. These tights fit me fine in the waist. The legs are a bit too long, and I wind up pulling a fair amount of fabric up above my knees in an attempt to keep the crotch area tighter to my body. The tights have plenty of stretch in the fabric, so adjusting them isn't hard to do.This brings me to the fit in the crotch/seat of the tights, and my biggest gripe. While the pad is thick, firm, and comfortable to sit on, it also gives me the sensation that my pants are falling down any time I am not on my saddle. No matter what I do to adjust the fit, the waistband of these tights seems to drop when I walk, and that feeling of being exposed returns. I'm not sure if this is a problem with other cycling tights, as this is my first pair, but I've never experienced this issue with cycling shorts. I find myself regularly reaching back to make sure my lower back is covered while riding, and I am hyperaware when walking around. There is a small, zippered pocket in the back near the waist that I will probably never use because I imagine it would only exacerbate that sensation that the moon is trying to rise.So... for me... the fit is baggier than I'd expect for tights, but I am also not the usual body type that most cycling gear is designed for. Overall, I'd say these are good quality tights, and I'd recommend them. Just know your measurements going in, and order appropriately.
