I bought this Cylinder to replace the bucket cylinder on my Bobcat 642B. It was a direct replacement . No modifications needed. Worked perfectly after installation. The base end of the cylinder that attaches to the boom cross member was approximatley 1/8 inch narrower than the original. a couple shims might make it the perfect installation. I installed the cylinder as recieved and everything worked fine. A snow bucket fully loaded with manure rolled back and dumped without issue. This was the cheapest and fastest delivery of any cylinder that I could find. initially I'm very happy with my purchase. Thanks Amazon!!

Perfect fit - 15 mins to put on and plug N Play basically with my 643 bobcat Thanks!!still haven't dug with it yet, but seems to work as it should!

The hydraulic bucket ram was just what I was looking for to replace my 50 yr. old worn out Bobcat one. I haven’t changed it yet but we see no problems.
