My water pressure was reading 85 psi and realized I needed a new pressure regulator found the exact model on Amazon was very easy to replace direct fit took 15 minutes and now the pressure is normal at 60 psi

Good pressure regulator it works great and handles the crazy pressure I have at my house the only issue I have is whoever makes the decision on how it’s packaged for shipping needs to be fired! Who ships a heavy anything in a flimsy bag! The threads on the pressure regulator were pretty beat up because of the poor packaging I’m surprised when I hooked it up it didn’t leak.

Very well made by our allies in the ROC. Rock solid, easy to install and remove for servicing. I added a thin film of food grade silicon grease to the gaskets so they won't stick 10 years from now...

I'm up to #3 of these Zurn pressure reducers and I'm perfectly happy with their performance. One for the main house water supply, one for the garage, and another for the irrigation system.Installation is a breeze, and removal for maintenance or, for in my case for a reconfiguration of the incoming water line, is a cinch. Parts are available -- in my case, a new tailpiece.I have a pressure valve connected to the incoming water line and I never see any variation whenever I check it. Pressure stays right where I set it.Out in the elements these valve bodies weather well and don't turn green or nasty looking.I took a chance on my last purchase and bought two as returns off of Amazon Warehouse Deals, and they came to me looking bright 'n shiny and worked as well as brand new ones.

I ended up going over to the big box and getting the 1 inch. My 3/4 inch supply line from the water district uses a 1 inch plastic pipe up to the house. So I used a 1 inch regulator. A suggestion is to make clear that a feature of the regulator is if installing on a 3/4 inch supply line, that the line may actually be 1 inch. Go ask a plumber what is going on here and tell your cutomer's the answer. Fortunately, I checked the pipe diameter with calipers before cutting it so I went to get the 1 inch regulator and shutoff valve to make sure I had everything in the right size before I cut the line.

Upon investigating increasing water hammer when dishwasher started, I found household water pressure to be 125psi. Great for throwing water out there with garden hose, but bad for appliances. Replaced a 30 year old buried pressure reducing valve with this one. Comes with two 3/4" female adapters with rubber o rings. No need for teflon tape with o rings. Just don't over tighten it and crush the rubber. Lead free according to attatched label. No leaks and tested to 50psi from factory. Will adjust to 75psi as the decreased pressure is very noticeable spraying with a garden hose. Would absolutely buy again.
