Very fast shipping. It's as described. Seems to be of good quality. As for its durabilities, I will update after using it for a few times.

String trimmer line is flexible, strong and easy to handle. String’s twist pattern isn’t as deep as i thought, but that’s good. It just has a slight pattern to it, not just round string. I didn’t notice much of a difference in “edging” with the string, but when using the string trimmer in the “flat, horizontal” cutting position it did seem to do a much better job of clearing the tall grass. Around trees and fences seems to work much better than the plain round string. It is easy to load the empty spool also, it doesn’t seem to fight back as much as the stiffer round string with the same diameter. Basically just some good refill string for your string trimmer.

I was curious what the line looked like up close. So a comparison with my former regular line and the CHWAY twist line at 2x.I tried the line on some dead grass, left over winter plants with stems 4-6mm thick and some lawn edging. It worked as advertised. Summer time will be the real test.

I received a 280 foot roll of trimmer line. If you wind your own spools of trimmer line like I do, you will require a roll of trimmer line. Trimmer line comes in various widths depending upon the trimmer you are using, and my trimmer calls for 0.065 line, which is the width I ordered and received. This is a good long length of trimmer line, and will likely supply your needs for more than one year. The line came as a roll in a clear plastic blister package. It took me a bit of time to find one of the two loose ends in the package, but once I did, I was able to feed the line out from the package to load a trimmer spool. The line seems of decent quality and seems similar to trimmer line I’ve previously used. Overall, a nice long roll of trimmer line.

The actual colour turned out to be more of a purple-ish pink, but boy is this stuff tough. For such a thin diameter (much thinner than what I'm used to using), it's surprisingly strong owing to the fact that each twist actually produces a dense node in the line that resists cutting. The nylon is quite stiff but relatively easy to wind on my Black & Decker trimmer, and still pops out when I need it to, so it's also reasonably low on memory, unlike fishing monofilament.Actually a bit surprised at the performance tbh. Only tested it for a few minutes but it sawed right through all kinds of foliage and undergrowth. Very little difference compared to my thicker 0.08 lines. It did have slightly more difficulty with soil though, so if you regularly use your trimmer to edge your garden beds, a thicker and more robust line might be a better bet. Otherwise, this stuff is needle sharp when it gets going. Definitely will require proper footwear and ankle coverage just in case. The bonus however is that it doesn't fling rocks quite as much so that'll minimize scratches in my protective eyewear. Not bad!

It’s extremely weak. You will burn thru it in no time. Enough to hit wood fence and it’s gone. Don’t waste your money

I needed some new line for my Ryobi 18V electric trimmer and figured I’d give this twisted trimmer line a shot. I’d seen the twist-style before but never used it, so this felt like a good excuse to try it. Winding it onto the spool was straightforward—the trickiest part was just fishing out the end from the roll. Once I got it loaded up, I tested it on a patch of leftover fall growth in my yard and edged along the front walk. It handled both jobs without any issues. What surprised me was how tough this stuff is, especially considering how thin it looks. The twist gives it this dense, stiff structure that really cuts through grass and small stems instead of just whacking at them. Even in cooler weather when the grass isn’t really growing yet, it held up well. It didn’t break off like some of the round lines I’ve used before, and it doesn’t tangle easily either. One bonus is that it doesn’t throw rocks around as much, which is great for keeping my glasses from getting scratched up. The spool it comes in has this little feed hole at the bottom too, so it’s easy to pull out what you need without the whole thing unraveling. I loaded it into a Worx trimmer and a Black & Decker with no problem. The color is kind of a purplish-pink—not that I care, but worth mentioning if you do. As for edging along garden beds, I noticed it struggles a bit with dirt if you're getting too close, so if you’re usually scraping against soil, a thicker line might be better. But for everything else—grass, weeds, trimming around trees or fences—it’s sharp and holds up well. There’s a lot of line in the roll too. I’ll probably get a full season or more out of it, even with regular use. So far, it’s been a good switch from the round line I usually go with.

I got this for my electric Ryobi 18V trimmer and it fit just fine. I was always curious about these twisted trimmer lines, so this was an opportunity to try it. After winding it on my reel, which was simple enough (hardest part was finding the end), I tried it on a small section fo my yard.Still a little cold in my area so the grass has not started growing much yet, so it was mostly growth from late last season and it trimmed it pretty well. And I used it to define the edging n the front and it did a fine job.Only time will tell (once the grass starts growing again) how well it holds up and if the twisted line makes any different. For now, it seems just as good as the regular round line I was using, but that is not a bad thing.

We just received a new trimmer/weed wacker and obtained this spool of replacement string for when the small amount that came with the weed wacker is expended. After ordering this, the shipping and receipt was very fast. The twisted string is as described and hopefully will work well. I see no reason why it wouldn't provided it feeds out of the trimmer well. The amount of twist and flat edges in the string is less than I expected from looking at the advertisements which eliminates some of my original fear of it not feeding out well. I will update after using it for a few times.
