I got really tired of breaking trimmer string on the fence and in the brush. Fed up I bought the thickest string I could find and Iโ€™m not disappointed. It chews up everythingโ€ฆ so stay away from vinyl siding. I frequently cut young brush out of the fence line without trouble. Under โ€œnormalโ€ use, it last a really, really long time.The downside is the stiffness makes it difficult to wind around the spool. Also, if you have a small trimmer, the holes on the spool head may be too small. Some redneck engineering may be required. Sure itโ€™s made for larger commercial machines, but I make it work in my Greenworks electric trimmer. This 5 pound spool may outlast me.

This line is not the best that Iโ€™ve used, but itโ€™s not the worst either. Iโ€™m not a professional I just use it around the farm.
