This product did not meet my expectations. There were no instructions provided, so assembly and use is impossible.

It’s OK. Not great, but OK. It took me quite a while to figure a way to adapt it to fit my trimmer. There were no instructions included. I ended up having to use a combination of supplied parts and parts from my trimmer. I finally got it to stay on tight enough and gave it a try.It did a decent job of removing weed growth between the asphalt road and the concrete curb. I also tried to use it on some grass growing between the cracks in my sidewalk. This was a bad idea because it will cut a groove in the concrete if you use too much pressure. In addition, I tried it on some weeds. It was OK, but wouldn’t be my first choice for weed control. It can cut through some thicker stuff, but with only 8” diameter, it takes a lot more effort to clear any given area. I didn’t try it for rust remover, but I have a feeling that would be its forte. All in all, not a bad product. I’ll hang onto it. I could come in handy down the road. Just my $.02.

I have a pasture with no animals that eat it yet so the grass grows to about 6’ by mid July. I have a tractor with a rough cut mower for tackling it but I’m in the middle of fixing it. I needed to make a path and already had a handheld brush cutter (troy built).I used the saw blade from this and it worked flawlessly. I cut a path, then raked the grass that fell and used my lawn mower to clean it up and make it shorter.Keep all animals and people well away from this thing!!!I would’t recommend cutting a couple acres with it because it will take all summer but some sensitive areas like the septic or fence lines are no problem. Haven’t used the chainsaw blade yet. I mostly contend with grass.

I was able to make this work on a Honda unit by drilling out the smaller washer so the it fit over the shaft. I have only used the 80tooth saw so far and it is amazing. No issues cutting 2-3 inch saplings. 1” and under it zips through them like nothing.

After researching blades for my trimmer I was pleased to find this combination for sale. My land area is up to three acres and in the 'wild' section there are a variety of regrowths that need cutting. The carbide blade handles tall grass, sumac and poplar (small trees) with ease. The chainsaw blade is suited to more substantial stems. The order came quickly and included mounting bushings. The blades were a direct replacement so didn't use any of the included bushings. I would recommend this combination for anyone needing to cover a larger area of cleanup!

This was a pretty good brush clearing saw. I used it to clean up some saplings and brush in my backyard. It works best on machines that have plenty of torque, to saw through the saplings and thick brush, but if your weed wacker doesn't have much torque, it can be done...just move slower to keep the rpm's up.One of the cog pieces didn't fit my machine, but that's ok. You should be able to use the existing one on your machine. The instructions aren't intuitive, but just remember a few things...1) loosen the string trimmer attachment, you need to use a tightening motion, NOT a loosening motion. In this case it's not righty tighty, but righty loosey!2) You need to find the spot where the outer casing on the trimmer attachment aligns with the hole on the inner spool portion of the trimmer attachment. Where the holes line up, stick the hex key in so they don't rotate with respect to each other. You actually don't use the hex key on a hex screw, it's just to lock both portions with respect to each other so you can 'unscrew' the whole stringer attachment from the rotor. ...and remember...use a tightening motion to loosen as it uses reverse threads.3) Once the attachment is removed, flip the inner gear/sprocket upside down and it will have the proper spacing for both of these blades.I haven't used them long term, but they seem pretty good. I cut through a few sapplings and bushes in no time.
