These look like most of the other breakers of this style that I already use. They will work well as solar panel disconnector switches. I don't have a method to test if the circuit breaker will trip at the correct current, but I don't use them as disconnects and not breakers.

The Pjerjzn 16Amps Solar Circuit Breaker 2P 550VDC Circuit Breaker is a convenient solution for a PV solar disconnect. I got this to mount next to my charge controller. The package includes a short DIN rail and screws making installation easy. The clamps on the breaker open wide and handle very large wire. The package also included four crimp ferrule connectors but they were from 2.5mm wire (14AWG) which is smaller than what I'm using.I, fortunately, had no reason for this breaker to trip so I can't review that aspect of the product. It does turn on and off nicely.

I got this for a Solar array. I needed a safe way to disconnect power to the inverter in the event of maintenance. This gives me that fast process. It also provides Over current and overvoltage protection. I mounded this on its supplied DIN rail in an enclosure. This has worked great without issues.

This is labeled as a "PV" (photovoltaic) or "Solar" circuit breaker. Now, to be an effective circuit breaker, you put the circuit breaker at the power source, meaning that really, this should go somewhere close to the solar panels.Of course, that really isn't practical for most people, so they just put it next to the solar charge converter, where it really isn't doing anything, but it does make for a convenient switch to turn off power from the panels to the charge controller.This is a rather expensive switch, but it appears to work. I didn't test the trip values on this, nor did I test the 550V rating.

I absolutely love it when an item like this is fully complete. Colored cable ends, terminal lugs, rail, breaker and even screws to mount the rail.

My existing MCBs in an installation were only rated for an ICU of 4Ka. While there isnโt a lot of benefit from overdoing the Ka rating of your breaker, for my application 4Ka was a okay but not great, and the Ka value can be considered a proxy for the quality of the breaker.With this breaker, I better match my needs and get a better built breaker.

Iโm using this breaker as a solar disconnect for a small PV system. This one is near my charge controller. It is an easy way for me to guarantee that the solar panels are disconnected. I have a proper solar disconnect out near the panels.The breaker itself seems fine. I do not have anything significant to report (either good or bad).I will say that this is for a small PV system. If you are doing something where this will be mounted inside your residence, I would spend the extra money and get a breaker that is UL listed.
