I was trying to lower a camera off of a bridge to catch a sunset from just above the water, and I used these as pulleys for the trip types that was holding the camera. Worked great. I would highly recommend.

The pulleys are excellent, and robust. The gap between the wheel and the sides is very small, so it is unlikely that the rope will slip off the wheel and bind between it and the sides. The supplied rope definitely does not do this.I used these to hang bird feeders so I could easily raise and lower them. I've had zero issues to date, and after much use, they do not seem to be rusting or degrading. I'd buy them again.I didn't need the clips, but that also does not mean I would not buy them again.
