This is a nice set of wood carving tools for your angle grinder. I tested them all on some firewood and they remove a lot of material rapidly. Please remember that wood is tougher than your skin. The "burr" style wheels don't tend to grab the wood nearly as much as the slotted tool in the kit. The slotted one will grab wood and could cause the tool to move in an unexpected direction, so keep that in mind. I would not recommend using this on your angle grinder without the handle attached. You want as much control as possible.These also turn the removed wood into A LOT of sawdust, so protect your eyes and lungs. This is definitely one of those with great power comes great responsibility things.I really like the little adjustable spanner that comes with the kit. It's terribly handy. The flap wheels aren't anything revolutionary, but they work fine.

This kit allows you to go beast mode on wood. The kit really dug in and made short work of removing wood, allowing the art to magically appear. Kickback was amazing, but once you understood how it cut, it really was amazing how little effort it is to take wood off.This is a very good and durable kit that had very good tolerances on my Makita. It really gives you freedom to create.

The angle grinder is one of my very favorite tools. This set of wheels allows me to use it on wood instead of metal. Be careful with the lower grits as they can grab and try to pull the tool out of your hand. They do a really nice job though. I was able to make a dishing stump fairly quickly for shaping metal.

The flapper discs are for a 4" grinder where there are several of the metal wood cutting blades that appear to be for a 4-1/2" grinder. With that being said what you get out of these blades is awesome. This set is ideal for wood carvers and sculpters that need to take out lots of wood quickly and then being able to make any shape I want. I believe the metal carving blades will last almost forever and are made very well. Overall, I'd say this was a very good purchase.

This collection gets five stars because of value for the money. Each type of disk in the kit gives different results:The four metal carving wheels with raised burrs are the most useful items in this collection. Each one carves differently: one carves on its perimeter, the way a car tire contacts the road. The other three carve on their faces, one with a flat profile and two with curved profiles. The two with curved profiles enable you to carve shapes like bowls or contoured stool seats.The remaining metal disk has 12 curved teeth cut into it, like a curved table saw blade. I found this one hard to control, especially on hardwood. It does remove a lot of material on softer woods like redwood.The four flap disks have plastic hubs. They seem to work, but every other flap disk I've ever used on the angle grinder has a metal hub, or metal plus fiberglass. The plastic hub may not be as strong as those.Finally, you also get an adjustable wrench for angle grinder flange nuts. Since you probably lost the one that came with your angle grinder, this will be useful.

great sanding disks that are easy to install and replace. Comes complete with removal kit and love the variety disks for grinder! Good quality and value for the money!

Day 2 of using the bits and the blue sanding one exploded while use. It broke into 3 pieces, flew off the angle grinder and his my hand and face protection.I've been using one the other bits and others I own for days with no issues.I've confirmed it was not the install that was the issue. The bit literally exploded while saning edges
