My Greenworks string trimmer has been going strong for years, faithfully buzzing through weeds and edging the lawn with minimal fuss. For the longest time, I only had one spool that I manually re-threaded with fresh line every time it ran out. It was a chore I’d put off until the last possible moment—usually when the weeds were already out of control. Eventually, I got smart and picked up a second spool, just so I could swap one out and keep going, then worry about the rewinding later. But ordering this 12-pack of YWTESCH replacement spools felt like a game-changer. It’s the natural evolution of my "work now, rewind later" mindset, and it has made yard work a little smoother and less frustrating. What I like most is that it really is a complete set. You get ten pre-filled spools and two replacement cap covers, which—if you've had a Greenworks trimmer for any length of time—you know is one of the only parts prone to regular wear. Those plastic covers tend to degrade over the years, and they don't always survive a drop or a stubborn tug. Including two of them is a thoughtful touch that makes this set stand out. It's not flashy, but it's exactly the kind of convenience I appreciate. In terms of performance, the trimmer line that comes pre-installed on the spools is solid. It’s the right thickness for typical edging and yard maintenance and works just fine in my Southern California yard where things grow fast but don’t tend to be woody or too dense. If you’re only trimming lawn edges, driveways, or around planters, it’ll hold up well. I wouldn’t use it in the middle of a thicket, but that’s not what it’s made for. I also like that the line doesn’t seem overly brittle, and the dual-line system feeds well through my trimmer. No hang-ups, no jamming, no awkward manual advancing needed. That said, I’ve collected a decent amount of replacement trimmer line over the years, so I don’t plan on just burning through the included line and tossing the spool. The best part is that these spools are easily refillable. They pop apart just like the OEM version and don’t give you any reason to doubt compatibility. So I plan to rotate through this set—have a few ready to go for quick changes, and use the empty ones to wind on my bulk line. The added caps alone justify the price, and it’s made my trimming routine far more efficient. Four stars and fully recommended for anyone tired of rewinding spools mid-job.

These popped into my Greenworks trimmer without any issues. The string holds up and doesn't fray or wear out as easily as some cheaper brands I've used. I like that you receive a box of them, as I don't feel bad about throwing it away after I'm done.Re-stringing a Greenworks trimmer is horribly difficult. It requires pulling the entire string through, then hand-turning it to wind it up. It's very difficult to grip and actually requires a tool if you can't turn it because it's lost its grip. These allow you to throw them out and pop a new one in.All the pieces came without any issues, I expected to see some cracks or strings that weren't put on properly. I would definitely purchase these again.

Not the seller's fault but Greenworks makes getting the right spools overly complicated. Tried to get this to refill my Greenworks 21342 (24V 12" Cordless string trimmer) as it's a great price for 10 spools and it has the same textured gray line that originally came with my trimmer. Confusingly most of the recommended single line replacement spools come with what appears to be a more basic smooth blue trimmer line. I found some other listings that had my trimmer among the compatibility list that also listed the same models referenced here, so I figured it'd be fine and I'd just use one feed at a time. Well turns out the spindle is slightly larger on the single line head so despite these spools looking very similar to my single line spool down to the ratchet teeth, it will not go on. The caps are a perfect replacement and the line looks exactly like the original, so it's still fine to refill my trimmer and get a fresh cap on there but I lose out on the convenience of pre-wound spools. These dual line spools have two lengths of 9ft line (18ft total) per spool.

I am so unbelievably happy I found these. I accidentally bought the wrong ones before and they were too big for my trimmer. That as my fault for thinking these were all the same. For this, I put a little more time into making sure it fit my Greenworks model. Though, I've had it for a long time and the model number was mostly worn away, this was the right one. These things are priced right. They dropped right in and it all just works. My rating system breakdown:1 Star = Safety hazard, gross misrepresentation of product, or flat out doesn't work2 Stars = Needs improvement3 Stars = Meh, likely wouldn't buy again.4 Stars = Meets expectations5 Stars = Exceeds expectations

These are awesome and make the job of replacing the string so much easier. If you try to refill the original spool, it is a true pain. Takes a long time and is tricky to get right. These just pop into place of the old spool and work as good as OEM. So worth the cost.No issues with these so far.
