Update: Seller has seen this review and offered me a refund.....but only if I answer a bunch of questions first & send a letter to some random email address through a pdf link. Nope, that's not gonna happen. I don't think Amazon allows that either.I'll clear things up right here so everybody can read it. It's not the height of the grass in my yard, the type of weeds that might be growing in it or the humidity. It's not my GW weedeater either.The problem is YOUR PRODUCT. As I've stated below in my original review.I've already returned these & gotten a full refund from Amazon. I found replacement spools in the Walmart garden center today. They're much better quality & price.OG Review: These fit my GW's weedeater. No problems there.The line is so badly wound onto the spool that it won't advance. I had to stop 7 times in the space of 15 minutes to remove the spool, untangle it, rewind it, feed it back through the openings and snap the cover back on. Much easier said than done. You need 5 hands to do this or else the line loosens up & unwinds itself at lightning speed, resulting in one CF of a tangled mess. I was ready to drop kick the spool across the yard.I will try a different spool this weekend and if it's tangled like the first one, they're all getting sent back. Don't care. I'd rather pay more for the GW's ones. My sanity & time is well worth it.

It did work. At first I did not think it would fit, and was upset that it was the wrong piece. I kept trying to force it, not wanting to break it, and it finally did fit. I’m happy again.

It's nice to have six replacement reels instead of having to wind your own. The set includes six pre-wound dual reels, plus two green covers. The covers rarely need to be replaced, so I think including two covers is a bit of a waste of plastic. Note that these reels are for the Greenworks dual-string models only. Replacement of the string reel is very easy, and this set provides a lot of weed-wacking for the garden.

Trimmer was purchased at Menards in 2024 but this year they did not stick the string.
