I couldn’t use it with my weed eater but a friend put some in hers and cleared out a nice size patch from my backyard, i would definitely recommend this for your medium tough jobs, and the string doesn’t break up easy either, it’s pretty tough

This 0.105 square twist line is very durable and lasts a long time but using this string for edging manicured lawns is a little frustrating. This string is very stiff and has quite a bit of memory from being coiled up in the roll so when you're edging at part throttle, it either creates a wide cutting path or very uneven lines. If you run it a full throttle it's ok but you now run the risk of kicking up rocks and breaking windows. This line would be great for knocking down a bunch of thick growth but since most of my lawns I take care of are well maintained, I'll continue to use my 0.095 Echo Black Diamond line which IMO is the best line on the market and gives you the best balance between durability and cut quality.

Start with the good. This string will rip into any vegitation you got. Cuts tall grass, weeds, and even thicker stock very, very well. I'm guessing it is because of the shape and how sharp the edges are.Now the bad. This string break crazy easy when I'm using it as an edger and it hits my concrete walkway. I'd say I get about 8'-10' and it breaks. Very frustrating.Also, I think because of the shape and sharpness that when I load the trimmer with this string it will not bump out. I think it gets caught on itself and will not extend out when I bump. To make sure it is not my trimmer I've replaced with round line and the bump works great.
