A good LiFePo4 charger. They are best charged to 14.4-14.6V, then stop or float at 13.6-13.7v. I couldn't confirm that this does the float voltage but the LED sticker suggests it does. I only use lithium batteries for power in my ham radio station and my camper. This is a good charger to have!

This charger charged my 100 amp 12 volt LifePo4 battery quickly. The fan is a bit loud, but acceptable for this size of charger. The wires do get slightly warm during charging. Due to the loud fan, the main unit does not get hot, only slightly warm, so the fan is doing a good job keeping the electronics cool inside. The fan does turn off when charging is complete.

On the bench today, I’ve got a Dumfume 12V 20A LiFePO4 Battery Charger(14.6V) with Connector Charging Fast for Deep Cycle Battery Boat RV.I have to start off by saying, despite one review claiming otherwise, this charger is absolutely not designed for outdoor use in any form. It very clearly says for indoor use right on the front of the charger and it has large air vents on both ends of the casing so water and dust along with anything else will easily get inside to the exposed components. Do not use this charger outside.Another thing to note is the included ring terminals are 8mm. That works well hooking directly to most LiFePo4 battery terminals but if you use a shunt, most of those are likely going to be 10mm so you wouldn’t be able to hook it up properly to that or if you have larger busbars with 10mm/3/8” studs in your system. This charger comes with a larger Anderson connector by default and that would work great for those that already use them but I will likely install some Powerpole connectors instead since I already have them plus I can adapt them to a sae connector, if I want, too. That way, I’ll be able to use any size ring terminal, alligator clamps or anything else I can think of.One thing that I would like to see added as an improvement is if they added screw hole mounts to the sides of the charger for those that would like to have it in a stationary solar setup or wall mounted. I’d also really like to see it come with some alligator clamp options. When testing the charger, it was putting out 19.75A measured with my clamp meter through the wires so that’s close enough for me on a 20A charger. Much better than some I’ve used in the past that would only actually put out like 17.5A.I can’t say for sure what exactly it will cut off at because during my testing, I was using it on a brand new 100Ah battery that hadn’t been too balanced yet. The charger was showing fully charged on it at slightly over 14.2v and would seem to cut off all output current at that level or at least it was no longer putting out enough for my clamp meter to even read on the wire. So that could be the charger or it could be the battery BMS cutting things off if the cells had gotten slightly out of balance while they sat on a shelf.Either way, overall, the charger is a good charger with appropriately sized wiring. Nothing got any higher than like 97 degrees Fahrenheit during the time of my testing using my thermal camera to check regularly. The fan does run pretty much the entire time and is definitely quite noticeable but it doesn’t sound like a jet engine like some cheaper chargers that I’ve used do. Just like a somewhat loud, quality, PC fan sort of level.

I have several 12 volt lithium batteries that are used for various projects around the house and garage. My multi-power battery charger that I have been using for the past three years suddenly quit working a month ago. This Dumfume lithium charger is a solid well built machine. I have charged three 12v 12A batteries today and all three charged with no issues. My only complaint is that it only included one pair of wire terminals to connect the battery. And the one included is for connecting the charger to the battery using screw on terminals. I would have liked to of seen an additional wire with the standard female blade terminals. The male blade terminals are what is found on most lithium batteries in the 12v class.Overall a solid charger with helpful indicator lights and a very necessary cooling fan.

I recently used this 12V 20A LiFePO4 battery charger for my RV, and it’s been a game-changer. It fully charges my 100Ah battery in about 5 hours, and the built-in cooling fan keeps the unit cool during operation. The Anderson connectors make setup straightforward, and the charger automatically shuts off once the battery is fully charged, preventing overcharging. However, the fan can be a bit noisy when it’s running at full speed. Overall, it’s a solid, efficient charger that offers great value for the price.

Good charger works perfectly with my 100 AH LiFePo4 batteries. Easily charged a flat 100AH battery to full charge in about 8 hours.- 20A is plenty of charge current for normal charging- Terminal voltage is a proper 14.6 V for the LiFePo4 batteries- Automatic shut-off once charge is complete- CE/ETL (UL standard)/PSE/KC/RCM/UKCA certifications- Designed for outdoor use, however it is not water or weatherproof- The supplied connector and pigtail make installation and connection so easy- Good quality of materials and designBottom line: A good charger that does exactly what you need to quickly and safely charge LiFePo4 batteries
