It worked out very well.I also liked that I could drill them into the ground with the provided socket bit. The threaded shafts are long and will resist pullout and sideways movement. Length and threading are key elements in this sort of thing.The green plastic part did not want to turn on the shaft at first. Had to drill them down until that part caught against the post and then broke free, but at least it did and worked out okay.

I use these at the beach and I love it, you can screw it in the sand and it’s so sturdy and it stays in place really well, I use it to weigh down my beach mat made with really light material that will fly away easily so these help. And the fact that it comes with so many just in case i lose any is great

I think they are more trouble than they're worth. You almost have to screw them in first, then hook what you are securing to them. Reason being, you'll either damage your straps or eyelets, or when the top bolt gets close to the ground, it will hook the eyelet and you cant go any deeper anyways.. good idea, but meh...
