I love the bright colors. I like how easy it is to pop them out. My kids are gonna love it at church.

After this, I will NEVER order felt story pieces again that are not already pre-cut. There are 16 “fairy stories” in this set, each with 15-16 pieces that need to have a few attachments snipped to free them from the rest of the felt. Then you have to remove the backing from the Velcro sticker and attach it to the back of the felt piece. Then you put them in their envelope and place them in the binder. Be prepared to invest some time for all this. It surprised me how long it is taking me to finish all these.Next, I take issue with the selection of the pieces for the different stories. Although some are not fairy stories - they are better known as songs - such as “Baby Shark.” But how can you illustrate “Baby Shark” without Baby Shark? There are clearly 2 grandsharks and 2 parent sharks but no baby shark. Our 2 yo and 4yo were very disappointed. There really should be a piece with the wolf in bed dressed as granny in “Little Red Ridinghood.” Why all the spiders in “Itsy Bitsy Spider?” Why aren’t there 5 frogs for the log? How about a mom for “Wheels on the Bus?” And so on… This set would benefit from these changes and from the inclusion of an instruction sheet on how to use the pieces. On the other hand, my grandkids loved “Goldilocks” and they loved just using the pieces to tell their own stories. It is a great pre-reading activity and helps with many facets of speech, etc. I do like the envelopes and organization and that the binder can become the storyboard. I would happily put in the time over and over again if only the piece selection was better.

The 16 Pack Felt Board Story Set offers a wide range of fairy tale themes with numerous felt pieces, but its practicality might depend on your patience and how much your child enjoys intricate activities. While the concept of interactive storytelling is great, the construction feels a bit cheap, and the set is bulkier than I expected. The sheer number of pieces is overwhelming, and setting up the stories takes quite a bit of time. On the positive side, the variety of stories and themes can keep kids entertained for a long stretch, making this ideal for situations where extended play is needed. The included storage binder is a thoughtful addition, but even with that, managing and organizing everything can be a hassle. If you’re looking for a detailed, hands-on activity that will occupy a lot of time and your child loves storytelling, this could be a good fit. Otherwise, it may feel like more work than it’s worth.

This is the best set of felt Bible stories I have ever seen. There are 16 Bible stories illustrate and illustrated sheets to clearly identify each set. Zip closure bags keep each story stored and clean . Wish all felt sets were made like these.
