Easy to use and sharp for cutting soft cheese. You can't really go wrong with this great value. I will say that for your average 8oz cheese bar, you have to shave off an ounce or so to cut because it is longer than the cutter. No big deal and recommended

This is a serviceable set for butter and cheese, but it's a flimsy cheese slicer, and the butter pat maker has the tabs for wires pretty uneven. It will work, and it's inexpensive, but it's not the thing you'll likely want to set out for your guests.

This butter & cheese slicing duo are the perfect addition to any kitchen. The butter slicer creates perfect “pats” of butter out of an entire stick. So no more odd or crooked slices of butter. It's great for when you are setting butter out on the table for the holidays or events. The cheese slicer is easy to handle and makes it super convenient to slice as many slices as you need from any block of cheese. This is a great set to have.

No complaints about this set. I bought it mostly for the cheese slicer, but the butter slicer is a good added bonus. The cheese slicer works great and is pretty sharp. It gets a good cheese thickness for sandwiches. Easy to clean as well and dishwasher safe.

This butter slicer is a good size for slicing both sizes of butter. I appreciate the solid stainless construction. This is better than my first butter slicer, which was not solid stainless and did not have the length and width of this one. The cheese slicer works as well and is also solid stainless, though light weight. This is a good value for these two stainless tools (9.99 at this time).

The cheese slicer works great and makes consistent slices over and over . The wires and metal on the butter slicer are a little flimsy so you need to go slow or have room temp butter to avoid damage.

I ordered these 2 Pack Butter & Cheese Slicers, Stainless Steel Multipurpose Wire Cheese Slicer Cutter with Cheese Plane Tool for Cutting Cheese, Butter, Eggs, Fruits and Other Food Use because I needed another cheese slicer for our Easter buffet this coming weekend. This two piece kitchen set is made from sturdy stainless steel. The cheese slicer I received is about 8” long from the to if the slicing head to the bottom of the handle. There’s an attached loop for hanging on the handle that adds about an extra 3/5” to the overall length of the slicer. The slicer’s “mouth” is about 2 1/4” long and about 1/4” wide. It’s lightweight and sturdy, and the polished stainless steel design works great with all styles of serving trays and platters. We needed a second cheese slicer for our Easter buffet, and I was very pleased to find this inexpensive, easy to use slicer. My teenage son enjoys helping with holiday meals by making up charcuterie and cheese boards; having an extra hand slicer for the cheese means we can put one on each cheese platter. There’s also a handheld wire butter slicer in the set; I’ve never used this style of slicer before, but I can see how it would be useful. I had wondered if it could be used for vegetables, like slicing a cucumber or halved grape tomatoes. I didn’t try it on the vegetables because I was concerned they would be too difficult for the wires, which are fairly slim. This does work pretty well on butter, though I don’t have a lot of opportunities to need to make butter pats, and if I did, I’d just slice them up more quickly than I could find the slicer in my kitchen cabinet. I haven’t had a chance to try it out, but I have a hunch the wire slicer might work well on cookie dough or other soft things.Honestly, I needed the cheese slicer, and the wire butter slicer was just a nice bonus item. It’s also made from stainless steel, and it’s about 8” long from handle to handle. The slicing area is about 4” long; it has 19 sections, and the wires are just about 1/4” apart. Both slicers are dishwasher safe; I’ve also been hand washing them in interests of longevity, and they clean up quickly and easily. At the current price ($9.99) I think this is a nice deal; the stainless steel design is sturdy and gives these an industrial, old school diner vibe. The cheese slicer is sharp and works well; you can make big chunky slices or super thin ones. I haven’t used the butter slicer much so far; it does slice butter fresh from the fridge quite easily. It’s a nice little kitchen extra; once I’m past the upcoming Easter meal, I’ll have time to play around with the wire slicer more. I suspect it’ll be useful for slicing and other plating effects. The cheese slicer works great on harder block cheeses like Jarlsberg and cheddars, and my teenage son loves being able to shave off thin slices of his favorite smoked cheddar to melt atop our homemade quarter pound burgers.
