How to train your dog with dog whistle:
- Prepare some treats, lead your dog to a lawn, or somewhere quiet.
- Adjust the pitch and blow the whistle to train your dog, continue testing until your dog responds.
- Notice your dog's reaction to each setting until your dog exhibits the strongest reaction.
- It is best to train 5-6 times per session, reward your dog with a treat If it responds positively.5
- Some tips: "Don't move" ------- Two short sounds, "Sit down"--------- one long and one short, "Over"--------- Two long sounds.

Please note this dog whistle is not quiet! Humans can hear the whistle. I purchased the wrong thing so I won’t give one star for my own misinterpretation of the whistle. I also thought it could be adjusted so that humans can’t hear it. That is also false. It can be adjusted to low, medium or high. But there is still sound.Five stars because it was delivered quickly and arrived in good condition and seemingly good quality. Just not the right whistle for me.

First time I blew the whistle my dog stopped barking and came to me. Gave him a treat and said good no bark.

Whistle doesn't work at all. I try it with 5 different breeds of dogs.

It is working, had a good night sleep last night. I only had to use the whistle twice before the neighbor dogs got the message, I hope the owners got it too! I mentioned whistle to a rancher that is having problems with wolfves. Don't know if they would work but it would be better than to shoot them, it's illegal. (smile)
