I used this unit to tie two propane tanks to my fireplace feed. I was using only one LP tank and when the tank went empty and I removed the tank to refill, air got in the line and it took FOREVER to bleed the air out of the line. This unit solved that problem.

I received mine later yesterday evening, so I was gonna install it after work today. Got to trailer today and got my old one off. Got this hooked to the main hose, then went to hook up hoses. Well my hoses already have inverter flare on end, so I went to take the ones off regulator and they have some type of sealant on them and I can't get them off. I took it off main hose and tried different ways. Two wrenches one holding regulator other on fitting. Did not budge. Anything I can put in by threads to help release it? No good reviews right now. Had to order fittings to reduce hose end inverter flare to regulators inverter flare because that sucker was not coming off. Two days without hot water without heating on induction cook top. Combat showers. Received fittings, everything connected very well then. No leaks, gauges showing good even the next afternoon. If hoses have already have inverter flares on end, be sure and order the reducer fitting. 3/8" to 1/4" (same material that is on hose)I think I order

Easy to install on camper propane tanks. Works well for monitoring propane tank fill level. Only used for a short time, but so far no issues with leaks.

My generator runs on propane and I am have four five gallon propane tanks and so during prolonged outages I had to turn off my generator to change tanks. now it’s a flip of a switch to go to another tank and I can replace the empty tank with a new one with nonstop operation. Another benefit of this unit is a pressure gauge located on each hose which allows you to monitor propane levels.

Leaks like a sieve. I just had a whole 30# tank bleed off into the night. I already had to switch the hoses between tanks to minimize leaking. Even that didn't work this time. No matter how hard I cranked down on the knob, it still leaked. The 13yo lines I replaced didn't leak, but this new one does. Guess I should put back the old lines as they didn't leak although the regulator was bad. I wasted time trying to get it to quit leaking and am now past the return date.

Reviews of all of these types of products invariably expressed a small percentage of negative comments about leakage in the hoses. I am pleased to report mine arrived today. The quality and packaging were good. I installed these on my travel trailer. It was easy to switch out the new with the old, different brand. Be sure to use the included yellow sealing tape on the hose connections. I tested the connections with soap afterwards and no leaks were found. Used both tanks separately and they powered my gas water heater perfectly. Highly recommend this product!!!
