I feel like I am the worst LED strip light splicer ever. Soldering? Forget about it, I can't get the solder to stick. The style of connections where you crimp down the metal splice are at best a 50-50 for me to get them to work ... and they are one shot deals. However these connectors helped me greatly. With the reliability of getting a connection on the first try, finished the project with no further cursing. The ability to screw down the connection, whether to lock in place, or loosen to adjust positioning, you have complete control. The ability to test for continuity with the multimeter leads on the screws is helpful. These worked the best for me with the LED strip lights.

Not a good product. Difficult and nearly impossible to make a connection with these. Better off purchasing the snap on type of connector.

These are a God send! My daughter loves these led light strips, so much she wants to put them everywhere and in all kinds of concoctions. It has been hard making the strips work that say with out these. These were great easy to use, easy to connect LED strips to one another in the right way so that they work, and with the connectivity there is no flickering and you don't have to worry about it staying connected. They are quality made and allow me to put the LED switch the way in the places you want I'm not worried about the adhesive quality on these as the strips have a good adhesive on them so these dick in place as well. They're well made so I hope they're durable and last for quite a while at least until she decides to make another copy with it.

I am very happy that I found this product! It’s a reliable way to attach compatible LED light strips, which solves so many problems! For instance, you no longer have to scrap smaller pieces that wouldn’t be practical to buy a dedicated power supply for, instead you just simply reconnect them using these connectors. This also means that making an LED strip to an exact length will no longer be a problem; if you need to add a bit, just use these to splice some more strip to the run!These connectors are high quality, you get plenty of them, and they even come with a small screwdriver. I must say that this makes for a good value. Just make sure that these are actually what you need as they are specifically designed to splice two pin, 10mm LED light strips. As long as you have such LED light strips, these should work nicely for you. Additionally, they’re compatible to connect either SMD or COB LED light strips. All said, I like these connectors a lot and I must recommend them!

10mm COB LED multi-strip serial test:My home remodeling project includes a good bit of LED accent lighting so rather than buy packaged LED strips that come with a transformer, I chose to buy LED strips, connectors, and transformers separately to reduce the cost and allow a more customized installation. Note that 12V - 24V LED COB lighting strips or modules have a voltage tolerance of ±5% to ±10%. This means that they can typically operate safely with input voltages ranging from approximately 22V to 26V without significant performance (color, blinking, etc.) issues. Connectors, wire size and type (copper, aluminum, CCA), and wiring scheme (serial or parallel) contribute to the voltage drop when wiring many LED strips together. Therefore, I wanted to test each component before committing their use to a whole house installation.These connectors, although advertised “to fit all your connection needs” are really designed for 10mm wide, two-pin LED strip to LED strip connectors. Here are my test results:PROS:• Screw connectors are reusable, clamp connectors are not• Contacts are 6.50mm apart on 10mm LED strips and 5.50mm on 8mm LED strips so the connector contact will touch on either size• Have room to connect COB LED Strips including waterproof (coated, IP63)• No measurable resistance (voltage drop) across the connector (12V or 24V)• Connectors work whether using a prepackaged LED kit or custom-building you own lighting systemCONS: (considerations)They WILL work:• very well on 10mm LED strips, LED COB strips, and waterproof (IP63) LED COB strips.• LED strips to solid core wireThey will NOT work• Correctly on 8mm LED strips that are normally found on shorter LED strips (• with three and four wire systems normally found on LED strips that support various shades of white and colors• LED strips to stranded wire. There is no insulator between the two connectors which isolates the (+) from the (-). A single strand of wire crossing the (+) and (-) will cause a short and cause the entire LED string to fail.All things considered, these are great reliable, reusable connectorsFive (5) stars for meReviewers Note:These test results are the summary of both 8mm and 10mm connectors manufactured by the same company. I got these connectors to help me out with my 3D printing hobby. I like to print small curved photos, and build a custom frame around them and give them away as gifts. These connectors allow me to take an LED light strip, and cut it into sections and use small button cell battery packs to power them. Screw these connectors into place on the wires, and use a little bit of hot glue to make sure everything stays in place and I am good to go.I wish I knew the existence of these types of connectors a while ago, saves me a lot of money for them.
