It's not great, but it will have to work for my home built guitar. The frets look ok but I think the inlays are stickers. When you look up close you can see it's not up to par with the originals. For $150 more I can get a much nicer neck with a beautiful guitar around it. Chinese yea but they are nice. I was expecting the same quality. But oh well it's better than I could have made.

I was hoping to get the build I had planned done but now I have to redo the body. Thanks for that. 🙄Update: downgrading to one star from two because they're extremely brittle as well. Tried installing the tuners and one of them cracked it like an egg. I've never had that happen before out of the dozen I've built. DON'T BUY THIS JUNK!

I've used a few of these necks for a few builds. They're real nice necks and bonus, they're reasonably priced. I haven't gotten a bad one yet. I currently have another in the way.I can't speak to how they fit as a "replacement" neck to a factory guitar. But they work great on my custom builds.

Bought this for a project guitar and the quality (before install) is surprising: no raised frets, no sharp edges, smooth and even finish, no fretboard blemishes…But upon opening it I found on of the headstock horns has a pretty bad ding; both the finish and the wood are dented and smashed. I’ll probably still use it but it’s disappointing.All in all, at least at this point, worth the price. Will update review after install.

The neck seemed fine at first. I had to shave some wood off of both sides to fot it into the guitar body and bolt it on. No big deal, it didn't need to lose that much width, just a couple millimeters. However, after I finished all that and attached it to the body, I noticed that the neck had a very noticeable twist in it and since I had already modified it I seriously doubt that I could just return or exchange it.Edit: a friend of mine came over not long after I submitted my initial review and after sanding on the neck pocket some more as well as placing a couple shims, we were able to get the neck to sit straight. It was installed in a 335 hollow body and it plays perfectly. I've changed my rating to 4 stars.

Tiny amount of fret sprout, nothingnI don't see in most necks. Wood is just stunning, not that blonde sort of mahogany, this is dark and rich. Rosewood, or a similar species is outstanding, not that layered junk you see on other necks.Highly recommended

Nice straight neck.I leveled the frets and shaved off the fret ends but that was all expected.It plays great and for right into my cheap Les Paul copy.
