This is a great 3000 W inverter that is well constructed. To use a 3000-watt power inverter, you'll need to connect it to a battery bank using 1/0 AWG battery cables (included) and an overcurrent protection device like a fuse or circuit breaker. For safety, include both AC and DC safety disconnects. I ordered it to power my refrigerator. My area has frequent power outages, which usually last no more than a few hours, with the longest one being five days. I have a gas generator so I can recharge batteries, but when it is a longer power outage, I don’t run the generator all night, but I need to keep the refrigerator running until I get the generator powered back up. The only thing I need to keep running 24/7 during a power outage is the refrigerator, and the 3000 W inverter setup can accomplish this.

Reviewing 3000 Watt Power Inverter Converter, We needed this to take out on the boat to make sure we never run out of juice for our tablets, fish finder, or phones. It works flawlessly and runs cool. The instructions suck, but you can google how to run a power inverter to find what you need. It’s a pretty simple setup and for a basic inverter, it’s good quality.

I got this to help me power devices my car can't handle while camping. Maybe you have a camper van you are setting up maybe you are an off grid power enthusiast, maybe like me you are a larper who likes to sleep in comfort knowing you can power your devices even if you are a mile up a very steep hill from any electrical outlet. Just be aware that you are going to need around 3 parallel lithium ion 12v 100AH batteries hooked up to this thing to use it properly and you'll need to know a thing or two about how to wire it up in order to use it safely and effectively, pick out the right fuses, set up solar trickle charging, etc. It can be a lot if you don't know what your are doing, so seek out online resources there's a lot of info out there and take it slow. Anybody can do it with patience. You get get away with a lot fewer batteries if you use a 48v system but if you want a 12v system this is a great inverter for you. Just be aware you are going to need more batteries. For me installation was easy because I am not attaching it to a vehicle, I need it to be mobile so I've installed it on a tote that I can carry the batteries around in. I've had no trouble so far but I've yet to bring it to an event and really give it a shakedown. If I notice any issues I'll report back in.If you don't actually need 3000W, be aware that using this inverter for a smaller load will be inefficient and consider a lower wattage model. Refrigerators are around 300-800w, heated blankets are around 100w, gaming laptops are around 200-300w, a kotatsu can be up to 600w but an electric stove is likely to take up all 3000 watts and that's why I've got this bad boy. Nothing gets in the way of breakfast anymore. We had a guy forget to bring matches or a lighter or anything to start the fire with one time and then we knew we needed to go electric. I'm optimistic. Haven't tested with the stove yet.

I ordered this for powering my mini fridge during power outages and so far during my tests it has worked great for that. I do have several batteries hooked up to help feed this and I will eventually add a few more to increase the capacity but this thing does a great job as is. For the price this is a pretty good inverter with great output. It is more than enough for most items but it is great to have the capacity if needed.

This is an excellent 3kw Inverter. Although the directions are simplistic, anyone using this should have experience in using electrical items. This is more than a car Inverter, it will run a major appliances, lighting...etc. I am using it in my shop to run a small Benchtop lathe wirh lighting. I would recommend it as a great item for powering at a campsite or a party or anywhere where you would need a/c. Combined with a power source this offers 3kw and comes with the necessary cabling to connect to a battery. Some modifications to the cable may be required based on the different types of terminals. It was packaged well and delivered in a timely fashion. I have been invited to participate in the Amazon Vine program and it is my responsibility to offer an unbiased opinion. I hope you found this review helpful.

So far I have had this connected to a 240ah lithium battery and ran two 1200 watt heat guns at the same time.Ran them for about 15 minutes and this inverter held up fine. The battery posts are very thick compared to some others I have tried and the display is nice to have so you can see some details about the power going in and out.

It's a big boy for sure! Like the meters on it which seems to be reasonably accurate when compared with a multimeter. As a general rule, I like to try to give myself at least about a 25% headroom from the rated normal (not peak) wattage rating, as I've discovered that many of these the wattage rating is a little overstated (and sometimes a lot overstated) even though they work fine in general. Just give yourself some wattage room to operate and know the wattage of what you want to use on it.Build quality on this is good and durable. Tried out a number of thins up to about 1500W with no issues at all.

As far as inverters go, this offers a ton of raw power. If you know what you're doing, how to hardwire it into your existing set-up (which you'll need to research if you don't know, as the instructions are terrible), and have basic electronic devices to run you'll be fine. As it's a modified sine wave unit (not pure sine wave) you'll want to exercise caution with sensitive devices (i.e. computers, game consoles, TVs). But of course, at this price point you're not paying for pure sine wave.If you need a basic unit - and this one comes with a nice digital display as well - this if definitely an excellent option, and a great value. Also, note it comes with sufficient gauge cables (no clamps), and consider it's size for placement within your setup - it's about 15" long.
