This is definitely not dust free. There was so much dust when I was putting it in my brooder it actually chocked me up. Far from dust free, actually dust abundant!!Needed it asap for brooder or I would have returned it. The only good thing about it and why I gave it three stars is because it was a smaller size than some of the hemp I have ordered in the past. I just hope the extreme dust doesn't cause harm to my chicks.

Love this hemp. Very low dust and it's nice and soft and controls odor and moisture in the coop. I use it on the coop floor (change out every 3 months) and on the poop shelf (daily).

Good value. Switched to this from pine shavings and my coops are so much cleaner. It absorbs moisture and you can pretty easily scoop out the poop without having to replaced all of it. I think it will be cost effective in the long run compared to pine shavings because I won’t have to change it out as frequently.

Good deal of hemp In this package I bought it for my rats, but unfortunately it's a little dusty.I will continue to buy it though.I prefer him products and this is one of the better ones

Love hemp better than wood shaving's. Easier to clean then wood shavings and seems to last longer , plus smells good and longer than wood shavings.

Definitely the best hemp I’ve bought so far! Some of the reviews said it was very dusty, but I didn’t find that. It smells wonderful and keeps the chicken coop fresh and clean. Will definitely buy again!

So I've tried several different hemp bedding for my chickens and got this one because it would come to me in time and wasn't super expensive as hemp bedding tends to be. I wish I would have paid a little more for a different one that I've used before. For environmental comparison, I live in humid Hawai'i and used hemp bedding for all ages of chickens. I've used several different brands along with adding First Saturday Lime and Coop Refresher powders - Eaton, Rentacoop, Hurdz, All Walks, and Old Dominion (of the ones that can be found on Amazon - listed in order of my preference so you can get a feel for what I am comparing against) - this is the worst of those. The smell after just one day is horrendous - and I like to keep my coops pretty clean. It soaked up moisture from the air and seemed slightly damp all the time..."soaking up moisture" is a goal, but not from the environment! Waste just sits on top with nothing absorbing it. So I had to clean it twice as much. It is very rough with large pieces of chopped hemp, some very big I thought some were wood chips falling off my coop. Also the bag had a big opening down the middle. They wrapped the compressed hemp brick and just sealed the ends so after it got a bit loose that opening also loosened up and hemp spilled out everywhere. If you are going to use this - make sure to store it in a bin to catch this.I should have looked at the reviews before buying it but I was in a rush. Two stars for cost and for providing a hemp option but I won't buy this one again.

Expensive but good quality. Price comparing others, this is a very large amount and therefore overall I feel the best deal currently. Fast shipping. Very soft and absorbent. Would recommend
