I had this meter prior but after leaving it outside in the elements for over a decade it finally stopped working. Bought a different one from Home Depot and no matter what I did to the soil to lower the PH the gauge wouldn't budge from 7 PH. Bought this one again and as expected I was act 4 PH. Along from it being accurate, durable (I really abused my old one and it still lasted over ten years) I love the tilt head feature. It makes it very easy to read in comparison to the fixed head gauges that are perfect for rabbits to read but not so much for the taller human species. This time around I'm keeping in a waterproof container in the garden so it just might last for life.

Does not work. I bought to test moisture content but needle hardly moves even in soaking wet soil or a cup of water.

Superb testing tool. Works Fast! Poke it in the ground a half an inch and get a reading right away.
