Makes home charging very convenient, would be better if the amps could go higher than 24, like up to 32, but is still essential when using a 240v outlet for more than connection. I don't use both outlets connections simultaneously although it's made for that.

Perfect for so many like me. My electric panel is on the other side of the house and has no spare spots for a new breaker. My laundry is located in a section of the garage which makes this a perfect spot to mount an EVSE. The dryer plugs into one side of this adapter, the EVSE in the other plug. When the car is charging, the unit automatically switches over to that plug. Same goes for the dryer. It's a win-win. The only negative is the current draw which is limited by the 30 amp line for the dryer. But it's better than a panel upgrade which would cost thousands. Overall this is a great device for soo many people who are in situations like I am.

Wow, this has been one excellent EV charging solution for my particular application! It was simple to install, and has been functioning flawlessly to date. I really like the built in circuit breaker for safety as well as the digital status display. The unit is quiet during operation and has really made it easy to share my dryer's power connection to charge my EV. I think this is an amazing solution at this price point to avoid a huge expense to hire an electrician, so this product receives the top five star ranking and recommendation from me for sure!
