Purrdy Paws are Safe and Easy to Apply
- Trim your cat's nails - kitten claws do not need to be trimmed.
- Than try on the nail cap, without glue, to ensure a proper fit; it should fit snugly.
- Once you have the correct size, simply fill each nail cap 1/3 of the way full with the provided adhesive with applicator tip, and gently slide the cap onto the nail.
- Finally observe your cat for 5 minutes until the adhesive sets and you're done !

Each application of nail caps lasts approximately 4-6 weeks until your cat naturally sheds their nail.
The nail caps are extremely safe and non-toxic. Even if your cat swallows one, no harm will come. The nail cap will safely pass through the digestive system.

Kitten Size: Less than 6 months old
These will fit most kittens by the time they reach the age of 16 weeks (4 months). Some kittens can wear them as early as age 12 weeks (3 months). To test, try a nail cap on first without the adhesive. If it looks too big, don't glue it on. The nail cap should fit snugly, like a glove. Kitten nails do not need to be trimmed.
Small: Approximately 6 months old -- Approximately 6-8 pounds
Some kittens at 5 months may need the small size if they are growing fast or are large-breed cats.
Small-boned adult cats often wear the small size. If your cat seems smaller than an average full-grown cat, choose small.
Medium: Approximately 9-13 pounds
Most adult average size cats wear medium.
Large: Approximately 14 pounds and up
Very large-boned and large-breed cats wear large.

These are fantastic! They prevent my boys from damaging my furniture, each other and my skin!! Can’t beat them and they are an inexpensive fix!! My cats don’t seem to mind them either! They can still make biscuits scratch their cardboard scratching boards and have no trouble retracting their claws! Win win!!

First- these DO work better than some of the cheaper options available. Size is more consistent, are safe to use (depending on your cat’s surliness), and the cats seem to be comfortable within a few minutes of application. We have a bonded pair and tested these against the lower price higher qty versions and these stayed on about 3x as long. That said, it may still be more economical to go with the lower quality option because there is no way these last 6 months for the front paws of just one cat-Nevermind if you wanted to do back and front. Also frustrating is that these arrive in a tiny plastic ziplockbag-NOT in a box. Making it easy to lose!

Well...the first time I tried to glue a plastic blue glow in the dark 'claw cover' to my cats nail...I overfilled the cover and inadvertently glued it to my finger! I was much more careful the second time...and glued it to my thumb. I bought some disposable latex gloves after that and had no problems at all!

I love that they glow in the dark! And that there are enough nails for two cats. My cats don’t love having the nails on the first day and can usually mange to get one or two off but neither cat was able to do that with these. Very happy.

They seem like they would be easy to use, but not quite.They are not stable on the claw, and we found they came off a lot sooner than advertised.They have a good thickness and seem to be a decent quality. We got the blue color and they did not glow in the dark as advertised.Overall would not get again.
