Easy to install. We had an existing mailbox on a 4x4. We cut the top off the old one and slid this over the old post. Has to use a saw to cut the new mailbox down to size. Was super easy and looks amazing!

It looks good and is easy enough to install... We went with post set in concrete.. We also filled the post about 30" above ground with concrete, so the post is sturdy and solid.. However, the horizontal piece which supports the mailbox is not a tight fit without modifications.. The mailbox wobbles and bit and supporting does not sit tight, so we added screws on each side with vinyl screw covers in white.. I noted that another reviewer had a similar problem. This could have been easily addressed by manufacturer/seller with some screws or hardware, rather than leaving this detail for the buyer to modify.

Almost gave this four stars but I really like how it looks 😀My only complaint would be that the end caps and top don’t snap on, they just sit on...:::: TIP :::: I used a heavy duty two sided tape to keep the end caps and top on.

I am very satisfied with purchase. Very straightforward to instal. No issues with screw holes lining up. I really like how the house numbers look- much better than using stick on numbers. As others have recommended, I did put a spot of elmers glue on post caps to make sure they stay in place.
