The plastic is really lightweight but how sturdy does it need to be to hold a yolk? It worked just fine and you get four. No complaints here.

I was hoping this egg separator would save time and make the job easier. Unfortunately not. Will only wit very small bowls cup size. It takes a long time for the whites to drain even when shaken or tapping it.

It's hard to rave about something this simple but it works well and having the pack vs one is handy as well. We're happy with them.
