This is just what it appears to be, a useful clear dosing cup that allows you to observe the state of your ground coffee after grinding, but for me, most importantly, it has a full 360 degree shelf below the rim which makes for an easy no-spill dose into your 51mm portafilter (unlike the many stainless steel options that have a shelf gap). It’s a “no-brainer”.

This is one of my favorite espresso gadgets. This helps eliminate a lot of mess with coffee grinds. Espresso is so finely ground and it's easy to make a mess filling a portafilter. This fits mine perfectly and allows me to weigh my shot and transfer it to my portafilter without making a mess.

Appreciate the clear cup so I can see what's actually being deposited and distributed when making an espresso. Fits perfectly on the 51mm delonghi portafiler. Keeps the grounds from spilling allover the place and i get the perfect dose every time. Appreciate the simplicity and ease of use of this little cup. Definitely improved/simplified my espresso set up.

My machine did not come with a dosing cup, and this makes it possible to dose the right amount of coffee, without spilling grounds everywhere. Simple and easy. Fits 51mm

Just got started in the world of Espresso. In a few videos I watched to learn about how to make a great shot, I saw a few people using dosing cups so, I looked them up. Not wanting to spend a fortune on a stainless cup, I found this little gem. Measure my beans, toss them in the grinder and grind into the cup. Pop the portafilter on and give a good shake to break up my grind, tamp and brewed a delicious double. $7 well spent!!

This is a perfect fit for my 51mm portafilter and easily fits on my small coffee scale. Just place your portafilter on top then invert. Everything goes into the basket neatly with no spills. Big enough for 14g double shots.

This is nice for weighing your dose and neatly transferring it to your portafilter. Hold the cup upright with the grounds in it, and place the portafilter upside-down on top of the cup, then rotate them both together. Then I give it a little shake before removing the cup so I can tamp the coffee.I received the dosing cup free when I ordered their 51mm portafilter (which I paid for).
