This little tamper is built spot-on, a perfect fit for our 51mm espresso filters. It's made of quality materials and has a good range of pressure adjustments on it. I don't know what else you could ask for in a precision espresso tamper. We have no complaints about it, at all.

I've been using this tamper for about a week now and it works great. A bit lighter than some but the spring effect works nicely to tamp down.

This tamper fit perfectly in my CASABREWS espresso machines portafilter. It is lighter weight than my other tamper but this one has a very positive feedback clicking noise when you reach the right tamping pressure. It is also very nice looking and the espresso shots have turned out perfect.

Love this thing, my coffee machine came with some cheap plastic scooper/tamper combo, and it was just awful. This is ridiculously easy, measure your dose, drop it into the portafilter, and tamp it with this, done.

I pulled a perfect shot after using this impact tamper this morning. On top of being functional, it's beautifully designed, comfortable to hold, and the sound it makes when you've reached the perfect tamp is SO satisfying. (I have a Breville Barista Express machine, and I got the 51mm - technically I should have gotten a 53-54mm which was not available, but it worked all the same. :) ) What a fun and elevated espresso accessory!

I've been using this tamper for some time now and think the quality is quite nice, especially given the price point. I am not experienced in tamping so a calibrated one was a must for me. While there certainly are other options out there that may be better, they are also pricier, and given this met my expectations without breaking the bank, I would consider it a very nice value.
