Use steps
First
Brush the inner wall of the egg cooker with oil and pour the eggs in.
Second
Cover the lid and put it in the pot. Be careful not to have too much water.
Third
Boil in water for 10-15 minutes, take out and cool.
Fourth
Gently squeeze the bottom of the egg cooker, and the eggs slide out easily.

My roommate loves egg salad so naturally I had to try these when they came out. Unfortunately as with so many things the original is better. This version is flimsy and not as sturdy and you have to put them together. They do work, but not as well and just aren’t the same quality.

I give this 2 stars because it does what it's supposed to do. I bought these to make hardboiled egg white eggs, which it "does". That said, they are more of a hassle than the end result is worth. First, you have to coat the inside with cooking spray well (as described in the instructions). If you don't do this, the egg sticks to the sides and you spend 30 minutes soaking and cleaning them by hand (dishwasher doesn't do it in either case and leaves soap residue) and the "eggs" are mostly broken into pieces. When you use the spray, they come out clean, but still require hand washing. When boiling, they like to tip over and get water inside and egg in the water, especially if the water level isn't perfect. Fashion a hook out of a coat hanger to deal with getting them in and out of the boiling water. They have now been laid to rest at the back of a utensil drawer probably never to be used again. They are inexpensive and will form an egg shape out of egg whites, but I will be looking for another option.

VERY POOR QUALITY..Lids don't stay on and eggs seep out whilst cooking. I thought these were from the same seller as the previous ones I purchased that I was very happy with. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE. Spend another $5 and get much better quality ones along with a bowl to microwave eggs in.

gimmick product in my opinion. once cooked the eggs stick to the container, requiring a knife to get it out. it is less work to peel a boiled egg than to use this product.

I read most of the reviews before purchasing to help with usage since there are no directions and they worked AMAZINGLY!!! You MUST oil the inside of the cups. I wouldn’t recommend non-stick spray, it doesn’t coat the silicone properly. I just used my fingers and some coconut oil. I also read a review stating that they tip over when cooking, that’s due to adding too much water to the pot. There should only be enough water at the bottom of the pot to steam the eggs, not fully immersed in water for boiling. They cook in less than 10minutes, super fast! They are easy to clean with a bottle cleaner, no egg was stuck to the tops either. If you use them correctly, they are an amazing kitchen addition!!!!!!!

Horrible. No directions and the eggs stick no mattr what .I ended up throwing everything away after my first try. Do not buy!!
