Snake hunting season arrived in Florida and I bought this product for my husband because he loves doing that kind of thing. He's already been authorized and we're ready to help with those little animals that aren't easy. I really liked this purchase.

I got this for my uncle and he is loving it! Where he lives there are a lot of snakes that sometimes get into the garage and this tool is perfect for that ! Very sturdy

I bought it as a gift for a family member who lives in an area where snakes sometimes appear, and he was delighted. He told me that the gripper feels resistant, firm and with good grip. The length is ideal for maintaining a safe distance, and the locking system gives you more peace of mind when using it.He really liked that the clamps do not harm the animals, which is important if you only need to move them without hurting them. In addition, it is easy to store because it folds without taking up much space.I didn't use it personally, but from your comments and what I could see when I had it in hand, it's a well-made and useful product for outdoor use. 1 issue- the locking mechanism on the handle loses tension if you grip too tight. I had to use this today and glad I practiced on a water hose to get familiar with it. I didn’t lock it so I held the grip manually and chopped it with my other hand. Then secured the locking feature after the body was severed. This is about as big of a rattlesnake as I will handle for the safety of my family. I don’t fully trust the locking feature.

This ratsnake wiggled and the grabber lost all grip and opened up and became completely loose. Crappy product completely useless now. Spend more money get a better one. Would send back but my only return place is 30 miles away .
