Total failure, Will not cut into PVC 1/2" & 3/4". I tried Grey PVC and I could not get it to start cutting threads. I watch videos on this product and everyone was cutting white PVC, so I tried white PVC and it would not cut into that either.Just a cheap piece of of foreign garbage. I pressed so hard that the plastic broke into pieces. The problem is I can't find a die set for 1/2" GHT pipe.

The idea appealed to me, but I struggled with each die to cut threads on different sized pvc. Not practical.

Should have read through the reviews first - could not get this to cut threads on any PVC pipe, tried schedule 40 and 80. Never had issues threading any pipe in the 15 years I worked as a plumber.This was a waste of money and effort.

The item that was sent to me was very obviously used and was scotch taped back together haphazardly. I paid for a new item, not used so that’s strike 1. Strike 2 is this is a piece of junk and the plastic is so cheap I expect it to twist and break almost immediately. Amazon should remove this seller for being fraudulent.
