I purchased the 7 gallon bucket. If you need to use this bucket with the lid you should know it's a ONE TIME USE LID! I wish I knew that before I spent $35.00, between the price of the bucket and shipping. This is such an important piece of information that it not being written in the description is just deceptive to me. I needed the lid to be able to go off and on more than once. I purchased a new lid so I could get what I bought this for in the first place, so now I spent another $13.00. Very expensive lesson for me.

The height of the 5 gallon bucket doesn't quite take the pressure off my lower back when sitting. Not just for storage, works great as a stool if you are on the taller side and/or like to lift your heels up at an angle.

Delivery was perfect. Size is great. The lid I just don't understand. Tried to close as it was received, wouldn't close, at least not for me, with ease. Figured maybe the side tab / ring needed to be removed. Did remove. Not sure if this was the right thing to do. Just not what I expected. Maybe some written direction would help. I'm using it as a compost transfer holder just outside my kitchen before I bring a full container to a larger compost bin. Fortunately the handle when in the upright position holds down the lid, or I can place a heavy rock on it to hold in place. I'll make it work.
