My pets don't need the eye combs but the tangle comb and flea comb work great.

If your using it for a lice comb for my family's hair the prongs were to far apart to get anything, but dandruff and pull out my hair. I pulled a handful of hair out of my head. So keep in mind of this. Maybe it's just mine so don't let the turn you away as they do their job for getting knots out and dandruff. As far as nits I honestly don't know.
