  • Enhanced Engine Warm-Up: The EBPV feature helps your engine reach optimal temperature quickly by generating additional exhaust back pressure during cold starts, specifically for turbocharged setups.
  • Vehicle Compatibility: Designed for Ford vehicles equipped with 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel Engines with GPT38 Turbo from model years 1999.5 and onward. It fits those with a 3-inch intake cover connection (1999.5, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003).
  • Durable Construction: Crafted from high-quality aluminum alloy and iron, this turbo pedestal and exhaust housing is built for long-lasting performance. The exhaust back pressure valve is conveniently located beneath the turbocharger within the engine bay.
  • Direct Replacement: This part replaces OEM part numbers 702670-0002 and 7026700002, commonly found in 7.3 Powerstroke diesel engines. Over time, the actuator rod may leak due to worn seals; this housing eliminates compressor surge and resolves related issues.
  • Lifetime Warranty: Enjoy peace of mind with our lifetime warranty. If your turbo pedestal and exhaust housing fails, simply reach out to us for a replacement. Save on dealer prices by choosing this part and benefiting from our warranty.

IIt needs to be modified so the waste gate valve has room to function properly. Like others mentioned had to be cut out to work. Also the be sure to clean out all holes on the base to insure no metal ends up in the wrong place. Also recommend if your planning to tear out the turbo to buy a basic rebuild kit with compressor wheel. Ended up doing a rebuild with a new compressor wheel and I am glad I did the bearings/ bushings were going out.

The parts look quality. And fit well. Eliminating the exhaust backpressure valve stopped a bad oil leak. And I don't notice any difference in warm up time. But I plug in my engine heater when the truck is sitting in temperatures below 40.
