Each camping trip, I usually lose one of my crappy, small, easily bent tent stakes. It was time for an easy upgrade for my camping experience. These stakes are robust, 12 inches long, have a pointed end for penetrating the ground and a rope tether attachment for cords. They are very secure in the ground yet easy to pull out. I will also be using these stakes to firmly attach my farmers market tent to the ground in my windy location vendor spot. The only thing that would make them even better is if they glowed in the dark so me and my dogs wouldn't trip in the tent guy wires in the dark and they would be easier to see when packing up. I do have an easy fix for that, though. I have attached glow in the dark tape through the tether holes. Can't wait to try these stakes out!

These stakes are basically the rebar of the camping world, overkill in the best way. They’re thick, heavy, and slide into the ground easy. Perfect for high-wind setups, rocky campsites, or that one guy in your group who insists on over-tensioning every line. I ordered these to replace some less than sturdy stakes and was hoping for the best. They are very sturdy! I even used one to help get a yard decoration in the ground. It was fine. And really helpful. I highly recommend this brand of stakes.

We do a lot of backpacking in our family, and I nabbed these in hopes that they would prove a reliable backup for my tent stakes. They are too heavy for that, but I will happily use them for regular camping.They were also a great emergency option in my garden when I needed to cover plants from frost unexpectedly. The covers that I anchored with these stakes never moved. The tip is pointed well to penetrate the soil. The shank is long and stout. Within reason, whatever you stake down isn’t going anywhere. The top loop is helpful, too, especially for when we take our canopy to the beach. That will be helpful for securing guy wires. I anticipate lots of uses from these!

Are you tired of the cheap, thin tent stakes that come with most tents? The ones that bend as soon as they hit a pebble? If so, get some of these metal tent stakes. These things are made of sturdy steel and seem like they will handle a lot of abuse. Yes, they are a lot heavier than the little stakes that come with tents, but I'm not a real backpacker or anything, so the extra weight doesn't mean much to me. The design is nice with a hole in the top, where you can run a line through. I like these tent stakes and there were twelve of them in the pack.

This pack of 8 heavy duty metal stakes has so many uses. They work great for a tent or canopy -- it seems you always need extra stakes when camping or the moment you set up a canopy as the wind comes up. We have get togethers and having extra stakes for not only our use, but for the others who seem to always forget their stakes or have lost theirs.These stakes are more heavy duty than most, are 12" long -- which makes them long enough to hold great. The have a enclosed round area at the top you run your cord through to secure, with the top of the stake flat making it easier to hammer into the ground. I also have a small garden storage that I needed some extra hold down stakes and I plan to use a few of these for added security.These are just great to have for any outdoor use and are a good price. You can't go wrong by having extra stakes on hand.
